No, the world isn’t as fucked as IST would lead you to believe. It will be a very hard fight to outright ban real meat. And even if they do it in the West, the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, etc. you can always move to a country with less cucked laws where banning real meat will be basically impossible.

      >they will ban meat soon and only the rich will be able to eat it
Well, it's more that they'll make it so heavily taxed that it's unaffordable, or you'll need some kind of license for it ("I NEED this or I'll die!") and applying for it will cost more than poor people can afford.

They also might make it illegal to farm without some kind of license that only a corporation or CEO could afford, so then only corporate farms and vastly wealthy land owners can afford it.

      >It will be a very hard fight to outright ban real meat
      This, see above.
      >a country with less cucked laws
This is where you encounter problems. At the risk of sounding like a burger meme, I definitely think gun ownership and Ameriburger tardrage are threatening enough that the USA will be one of the very last places to ban meat. They're not going to want to use artillery on American infrastructure, and they know we have enough armed fatass meatshields to stave them off while the actual fighters make organized strikes. Any other country in the world can't really say that.

When they try to take away food, espcially food important to your culture, shit goes wrong every time. Sri Lanka and Russia both got a lesson in that at different points in history

      >Sri Lanka and Russia both got a lesson in that
The two beacons of hope are the 'murican tardrage I mentioned earlier, and the fact that the elites know they need SOME well-fed poor people so we don't get jumped by our enemies the minute they start banning real food.

lmao wtf are you talking about I live in nl. This country produces something like 300% more food than it consumes, the whole thing about shutting down livestock farms is the result of the farming industry kicking the can down the road re: nitrogen emissions for ~50 years now. Overall goal is that national supply of meat won't be affected but exports will drop drastically. It makes no fucking sense that one of the smallest and most densely populated countries on earth should be producing all this fucking food, fucking let the poor Eastern European countries farm all our meat for all I care.

Pretty much this, if the west bans meat and the population becomes even more dumb and weak from eating bugs they'll just get BTFO'd by another region in the world and it won't last long until it goes back to normal.

I eat highly processed trash like hot dogs and chicken nuggets. Its blended up meat stuff bound together with meat glue. If it tastes and has the same consistency as normal meat with the same nutrition content. I don't think I'd mind.

They will struggle to ban it, there will be huge pushback. They are just going to manufacture a food crisis and inflation such that most people can't afford it anymore and therefore a lot of places stop stocking it. You'll still be able to go to a butcher and get it. We should be switching away from supermarkets anyway and in general leaving cities which will become dystopias in the near future. I can see some cities outright banning the sale of meat.

If we want to avoid mass famine, we'll have to. Meat uses like 80% of agricultural land and produces onyl about 17% of global calories. There are no two ways about it

most of it is land unsuitable for growing crops. Also we already produce much more food than needed to feed everybody in the world, but we waste an obscene amount of it

It sucks that we have to kill animals to get meat. I am glad we will soon not do so. Cows, pigs and sheep are intelligent and should not be farmed how they are being farmed. Hunting should always be allowed, the same with farming, the kind kids are taught. Multinationals torturing animals to decrease costs 3% is awful.

If plants can taste the same after getting Monsanto'd, the same can be expected of lab-grown meat. It won't by synthetic, it'll be cheaper to make it which will make meat more accessible to everyone.

The EU, one of the largest least based governmental entities in existence, is in practice not much more than a giant machine consuming tax money, feeding corrupt politicians and pissing out subsidies for cattle farmers.
