there's no free meal in life.
It's one of the basic principles of physiques.
The Lavoisier principle. Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed.
Trust me when I tell you that these people's hormonal levels are about to be ''transformed''.

          >obesity control is now a subscription
Is it really so far fetched?

Fatties just existing is money and power to them. Fatties are docile cattle.

When you get off it, you'll just put back on all the weight you lost because you never learnt to correct your diet and behaviour (which was the cause of your obesity in the first place).
You'll have to use it your whole life which probably won't do your body many favours.

The effects of obesity are worse.

The willpower required to maintain weight is a lot less than the willpower required to maintain a calorie deficit for years, which is what some of these fatties would need to do.

It most certainly does. The real question is whether these side effects are worse than the side effects of obesity.

If it leads to obesity rates falling I don't even care anymore. Anytime I see a comically overweight person a part of me dies inside.
The fatties without will power will keep getting fat anyways so this will just weed out the ones who are normalfags with no willpower and the truly disturbed ones that can't live without twinkies.

Adderal should work very well for cutting, it is not rare for some dumb doctors to prescribe it to some houswifes.
