Back then there was still a lot of room for broscience, the information was scarce and not easily available on the internet. Nowadays, any source, training regime and diet that is posted on lets say reddit, is sufficient enough. because even when roiding achieving that kind of physhique is difficult. The only time it may come off as easy or easier is when you're a teenager shapeshifting from childhood to adulthood, burning a million calories per second due to not being fully grown yet. This anon gets it. I'm 47 years old and look better than OPs picrel without even trying. I've had a job where I actually work for a living for the past 25 years. Meaning I've exercised daily, as a normal human being should. Also, good genes is not a meme. Just started going to the gym 7 weeks ago and completely mog my gymbro who's been going for a year and a half.
Finally someone else who says this. I got absolutely peeled 3 years ago when I was 26. I had to autistically count every bit of food, my "cheats" were one donut every 2 weeks, super low carb the majority of the time and a shit ton of cardio. My life revolved around getting and keeping low bodyfat...it was simply unenjoyable and unrealistic for me to ever maintain again.
Some guys can have naturally lower bodyfat but it isn't me. Christ, at 5'11 I was BULKING on calories that a lot of my guys my age/height will cut on.
Now my goal is just to be around 13-16% bodyfat, have fun with fitness instead of living in a gym and actually do activities and sports instead of being a gymcel.

most of my work is restoring these old monumental trees back to health, they often have issues with fungal infections and storm damage, trees don't really manage themselves well in urban environments and are a falling hazard if this isn't taken care of.

Most of the trees I kill are hazard trees, or unhealthy. If anything I try to talk clients out of cutting their trees down. I mostly prune for health and structure, overhanging limbs away from roofs and driveways. Once in a while some cabling as in picrel.

Being more muscular than that may make you "even more attractive" to some women if your personality and looks are attractive independently of muscle mass. But it will never compensate for personality flaws, a shit job or poor facial aesthetics.
Basically any kind of lifting or fitness activities going beyond the objective of a well-toned ottermode physique is a waste of time if you're just doing it to attract women.
