I can already guess the excuses:
Those weren't really fat people, they were thin people that had put on fat due to special circumstances.
It was easy for them to lose it again, because genetically they were always thin people to begin with. She however is really a fat person, meaning genetically she is doomed.
Her situation is unique and all of the people who did it were fundamentally different to her, which is why they could do it and she can't.
The dumb b***h said that its impossible to lose weight and being fat isnt preventable, which is obviously not true because there are plenty of examples of fat people losing weight. It's a valid argument because her argument already lacks substance
People used to not be fat, now most people are far. People used to not be able to eat a lot, now people can eat large amounts of delicious calories for little money
exactly, it's THAT simple. they claim being overweight is cause by genetics, but how did we get to 40% obese adults in the last few decades? did our genetics change? no, our eating habits did
Preventable? Yes. A person is by science not born fat, no evidence exists of that. Perhaps some hormonal imbalances but no bigger issues.
Eating too much food makes you fat, eating less than you need makes you thin. Eating what you need will make you keep a healthy weight.
It is somewhat genetic. In a sense that testosterone levels have dropped significantly, so does metabolism and so it also influences newer generations. Woman having predispositions to becoming fat easier is based on hormones.
>Woman having predispositions to becoming fat easier is based on hormones
obesity have risen when you isolate either genders as well > testosterone levels have dropped significantly
true, but again it's not that our actual genes have changed as to make us have less testosterone, but that our environment is full of micro plastics, cheap oils and whatever other garbage they put every where
You are right, but in order to explain this problem, you need to start small. All of fat people are consoomers, they don't care about any plastic or cheap oil being used in their takeaway food.
We have reached a point at which obesity in the United States is seen as acceptable. Testosterone drops, estrogen stays the same or even rises based on hormones, and as you say, there are some direct causes for that.
However, at some point in time, perhaps it already happened, the current drastically unhealthy levels of hormones will be stored in our DNA, or rather genetics.
Not arguing your main point but everyone is born fat. Newborns are fat little goblins, and historically the fatter the newborn the healthier they become later in life.
Yes, of course a baby is born fat, I understand that. Yet, there is no reason for them to stay fat later on in life.
When they stay fat, their baby fat was effectively useless because now they are just destroying their body with useless mass.
Yes they have no reason to stay fat throughout their whole life, but the fat is bot useless. The fat is used to keep warm and as a energy source in case food is short so the baby can develop and actually survive. In our world this isn't as big a problem so kids should be building muscle instead of fat as soon as possible
Not arguing your main point but everyone is born fat. Newborns are fat little goblins, and historically the fatter the newborn the healthier they become later in life.
Literally all newborns have done for the last 9 months of their life is "eat" and grow. The fat is then used to grow further and develop the baby's body.
Uh no sweaty. israelites feed on the blood of others. They were unable to do this once the Germans had them in special recreation camps. That's why they got thin. They cant survive without vampiric feeding.
Yeah but the answer isn't a simple calorie deficit. You either run a 200-400 calorie deficit and lose the weight over years of time or you do fasting one week every month or two and lose the weight over a slightly shorter amount of time. If you go a higher calorie deficit you will make yourself sick and can lead to health problems later and you will usually regain the weight. Preventing fatness is a lot easier than curing it. You could prevent it by not eating processed foods and cooking yourself.
They should have fat frick checkpoints like they do DUI checkpoints. Start arresting people for buying a dozen 2L bottles of soda, bushels of chips/snacks. The only way we solve the crisis is through some kind of authoritarian measures
There should be a battle royale held once a year where people over 35% bf are tossed into a large open air arena located in Death Valley and are awarded freedom only if they go down to less than 18% bf or are the last person alive. If they get fat again afterward release, they end up back in the arena next year.
I like your idea, but I think a fat prison would work better. If you are over 30% you go to a prison until you are under 25%. The prison only serves rice chicken and turkey.
Too expensive, but I suppose we could use the prison labor force to grow veggies, but that would mean they could sneak in extra calories. Meats and grains have a high enough nutritional value to keep people healthy.
I know it's fun to think about authoritarian measures and what you would do if you were dictator, but truth is, those wouldn't ever pass.
However sufficient pressure is almost the same as force, yet much easier to attain politically. See picrel. Simply tax unhealthy foods higher, give incentives and discounts to healthier, thinner people. To make it politically viable make exceptions for people who genuinely can't help it (disabled, etc). Keep that pressure up and I would bet a surprising amount of these people would slowly change. Truth is there are few rights people would actually stand up as long as compliance with the system is more comfortable for them.
A similar probably currently increases vegetarianism, I already see more people at stores trying tofu and other vegetarian/vegan alternatives as meat prices rise.
As long as you have political will, it's not that hard to guide a populance in whatever direction you so desire.
Exactly
It's mind boggling that even nutritional scientists ignore this
They frick about trying to blame obesity on too much fat or carbs or alcohol or whatever in our diets, but they never ever say "hey, what changed since 1960? Ohhhhh right, ubiquity of processed food"
>prevention
physical activity and an active lifestyle

https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/obesity-prevention-source/obesity-causes/physical-activity-and-obesity/ >make a fat person thin

I’m so glad that i was only very overweight for like 4 months after high school before I started losing it. I think if you’re fat for long enough then you just accept it and come up with ridiculous justifications for it. I reached a BMI of 29 from so quickly that I didn’t have time to make excuses before I noticed it and started losing it all by not eating 1500 calories of chocolate every day
Yeah, photos of their 4 grandparents (literal genetics) at the same age. And arguing that food was “less available” back then is way less valid since most grandparents now would have grown up after the Great Depression and WW2.
Ok sure one sec let me just go to the board for approval with this study - wait what that's unethical because it's going to hurt their feelings?
This is a behavioural problem and 'science' has given up and wants to give them all pills to change their behaviour, because they're too difficult to manage.
I'm not making this shit up. They've decided dieting and exercise interventions aren't effective because they regain all the weight. They've even captured it in a nice biological mechanism and implicate hormones that stop them from being able to stop eating.
Find me a picture of 3rd world famines, concentration camps, holodomor, or anywhere else where a population was deprived of food and retained any obesity. Which, per their circular logic that calorie restriction causes you to gain mass should be plentiful
Some strong sophistry in this argument. She's saying that if anyone at any time is fat, fatness is normal, natural, and ubiquitous. So even if we went from 70% overweight to 0.0001% overweight, we can't learn anything about what caused the weight drop as long as a fat person exists somewhere. This argument will be received VERY well by the 105-120 IQ crowd
Show me how someone turns into a fat fricking landwhale eating as humans should with real foods that aren't shitty processed garbage, by not massively overconsuming calories, and being active within reasonable levels instead of being lazy homosexuals who barely move 1000 steps in a day.
I'll wait.
I'll wait forever.
Lost 100kg and held it for 5 years without any issue. Once I got fat again, it wasn't because my "fat cells" but because I ordered 40€ worth of candy off amazon each fricking weak and binge ate fastfood every other day
If I put a gun to your head and told you to lose 15 pounds in a month you could do it.
If I put a gun to your head and told you never to go above x amount in weight you would do it and as time went on, it would become easier.
Dave Goggins
Steve shaw

The list goes on
watch this b***h call this ''anecdotal evidence'' or some other bullshit

I hate these people so much.
but that IS anecdotal evidence anon
>doing X is impossible
>if it is impossible, noone can do X
>at least one (1) person did X
>therefore X is possible
>redditors will say this is a "logical fallacy"
its still anecdotal
just use actual studies

I was born a month prematurely, maybe more
I was very undersized and had to be incubated
Now I'm 6"2', muscular, and good looking
You sound like a coping fatty
Yes, of course a baby is born fat, I understand that. Yet, there is no reason for them to stay fat later on in life.

So?
you say that but when the great reset happens.....
this b***h fricking loves science though
loves it so much she knows how to break laws of thermodynamics
Concentration camps
Dammit came to post this
"Body by Auschwitz"
Uh no sweaty. israelites feed on the blood of others. They were unable to do this once the Germans had them in special recreation camps. That's why they got thin. They cant survive without vampiric feeding.
Yeah just catch typhus to lose weight. Why has nobody ever tried this?
Show me the evidence of concentration camps.
i'll wait.
i'll wait forever.
The laws of thermodynamics
that's like saying a world without dumb people is possible
>that's like saying a world without dumb people is possible
There were literally no obese cavemen
How do you know?
Because obese people can't run or even walk long distances
And those things are totally non-negotiable for living in prehistoric hunter gatherer times
Are fat women the most delusional of all women?
The thing is, fat women can still get men to frick and marry them and they will form groups to force their will upon society.
losing body mass is easy when less mass goes into the stomach
Yeah but the answer isn't a simple calorie deficit. Brilliant idea. The only drawback is we'll create another obesity epidemic, this time with the vultures of Death Valley.
I like your idea, but I think a fat prison would work better. If you are over 30% you go to a prison until you are under 25%. The prison only serves rice chicken and turkey.
What about veggies tho
Too expensive, but I suppose we could use the prison labor force to grow veggies, but that would mean they could sneak in extra calories. Meats and grains have a high enough nutritional value to keep people healthy.
Why would we waste chicken on the fat fricks. Just put em down like dogs, most are mentally fricked for life and won't ever stick to change anyways
>The prison only serves empty carbs and the least nutritious meats.
Yeah sounds like a great idea
I know it's fun to think about authoritarian measures and what you would do if you were dictator, but truth is, those wouldn't ever pass.

I have two questions: What's that car on the left and is it RWD?
This could all be solved with some kind of fat tax.
You know there are some things they just don’t do studies on because it’s assumed everyone knows it already.
Obesity was practically unknown before 1960
McDonald's Corporation is an American-based multinational fast food chain, founded in 1940
Coincidence? You make the call, b***h
Exactly
It's mind boggling that even nutritional scientists ignore this
They frick about trying to blame obesity on too much fat or carbs or alcohol or whatever in our diets, but they never ever say "hey, what changed since 1960? Ohhhhh right, ubiquity of processed food"
Food processor firms pay their research.
Don't be American
Simple as
I’m not sure how someone becomes an adult and still believes that. I wish I could see what they see.
>I wish I could see what they see
Put a big pillow under your shirt so you can't see your genitals.
Can someone explain to me how these supposed "genes" that make fat people didn't exist in our ancestors? Do fats even address this?
They’ll probably point to those Venus dolls or how being fat used to be a considered attractive and therefore fats always existed.
>i'll wait forever.
Isn't that the problem?
Look at tribal people, they don’t have excess food or processed food and exercise a lot. None of them are fat.

Yes. Every person who didn't eat themselves into obesity are living proof that it's preventable.
>show me your data
ok I can show you my food and weight tracking journal that shows I lost 60 lbs in a year
Why do fatties make all sorts of cope and excuses? Literally just stop eating shitty junk food, it's not fricking hard
The fact that it's new?
>new
Nah bro she's, like, the same size as Marilyn Monroe, don't you know?
Yeah, photos of their 4 grandparents (literal genetics) at the same age. And arguing that food was “less available” back then is way less valid since most grandparents now would have grown up after the Great Depression and WW2.
Can I show her recorded measurements of me gaining and losing weight on command by simply eating more or less rice every day.
>be my dad
>be diabetic
>"no i can't eat xyz because carbs & sugar"
>eats half a packet of crackers and 8 ounces of dates
wtf
>8 ounces of dates
Good. Fruit will cure his diabetes. He neds to cut out fat and keep his protein low.
literally picrel

don't overeat and get some exercise
fricking lazy entitled c**ts
stop eating fast food
stop drinking sugary drinks like starbucks frappucinos and sodas
stop sitting on your ass all day
there you go lazy prostitute
>advocating less sleep
Literally trash advice
he's right, there isn't any
My parents wouldn't fricking feed me anything so I spent 18 years getting energy by drinking sodas and I was 145lbs until I started lifting in my 20s.
Are you me?

Large obesity is a recent thing, it used to be rare. If weight loss was out of our control then the obesity rate would barely change
Show me a fat person in Afghanistan.
100 years ago, not enough?
1000 years ago
