Is there any point in training legs if my goal is to be aesthetic ottermode?

Any time I spend training legs is time I could be spending training an upper body muscle

Yes, because there are only two possible pathways you will follow.

The first is you will never achieve ottermode because you don’t actually have the drive for it, so not training legs wont matter because you were never going to make it either way.

The second is that by the time you get close to ottermode your mind will already shift and you will view ottermode as DYEL and you will have new goals, this time bigger and better. As you progress closer to those goals, the lack of leg training causes your legs to be more and more disproportionate until it looks extremely unaesthetic and you will then be playing catch up.

There is no third option, don’t delude yourself into thinking it’s possible.

      >what are calisthenics athletes?

Most serious guys in calisthenics look better than ottermode, most casual calisthenic guys are very thin. Most the people who actually have ottermode have it from genetics + playing some sports and not because it’s a physique goal of theirs.

You need to stop being delusional, thousands of posters come here saying “I just want to be ottermode” which is something easily obtainable in 3 months for people with good genetics, however no one actually achieves it. The reason is the people with good genetics who do get to ottermode are already dissatisfied with it and decide to push themselves further.

How do you know this? I'm 5'10 @ 170 cutting atm because I want to look like OP pic and right know I feel pretty DYEL and considering bulking again. I also don't do any leg training at all.

I don't train legs at all and I have proportionally bigger legs than this

          500 squats a day b***h

. Before I started lifting, I looked like a fricking Trex. Literal Mewtwo level. Now that it looks a little more balanced after only training upper body for an entire year. I get that a lot of men have genetically thinner legs but that's not the case for me. If I trained legs I'd look like a gym thot.

Yeah and? I distrubite way more fat on my legs than I should. This doesn't change the fact that they look big.

have you considered maybe lose some weight instead of skipping legs you lazy frick?
there is a distinct differences between big legs and big fat legs.

Yes you fricking moron, I have big hips and I genetically distribute more fat on my legs than you. Why do you Black folk seethe so much when you see another man skipping legs? Because they don't have to blow their knees out like you?

if anybody is going to blow out their knees it's you since you don't train or condition them.

            And that’s a good thing.

Women like men with ass. If you ever notice when you're fricking your girl in missionary, she grabs your ass while you thrust.

      I can relate to this.

I was able to pull it off pretty well but then got dissatisfied with looking scrawny in a shirt.

Just train your fricking legs you stupid b***h, if you can't be fricked to train your whole body then I guarantee you will not stick with whatever weightlifting you do. The fact that you just want to ignore your entire lower body tells me you are not serious at all about getting in shape.

Yes, you will look like shit in shorts/pants, you'll have no ass (very important for aesthetics) and squats and your core will also look like shit unless you do crazy calisthenics movements too and not only weights

Having good cardio and strong legs made it so much more fun.

Yes. Legs have the largest muscles in the muscle and will greatly improve t-boost signaling after getting worked thereby benefitting the whole body

More overall muscle mass means it will be easy to maintain low bf. Dont have to go ss+gomad tho

Let's be honest if you're going for pic rel then you aren't going to need that much muscle anyway. Regardless, you should train legs just to stay balanced. If you neglect one muscle it can really hamper your progress elsewhere, especially with compound movements but also with the size of your muscle too. Just train everything anon, you won't regret it.

How do I get this physique? I want this

      Anonymous

Not really. Honestly, you can get an ottermode physique by just doing 1 single exercise regularly. That exercise is pullups.

Pullups plus pushups plus something for delts like last raises or monkey rows. Lots of swimming for cardio. Dont eat like a fatass, eat like a yoga thot but with more lean protein.

King of lifts for sculpting the torso, which is the main thing for ottermode. A proper form will even hit the abs in addition to back and arms. Do high volume, but form > volume. Many sets of lower reps with perfect form. If you need to add 1 more lift in your otter routine, choose Dips.

Basically train one body part per day once a week going into light weights with high reps as well with about 3-4 hours of cardio a week with a diet of a lot of protein.

be atleast 6' tall. lift for 1-3 years depending on where you start and get as lean as you can possibly get. It's largely genetic if you can maintain that kind of shape. Brad pitt has been very low body fat and has chad genetics so it was way easier for him to get into that shape than for 99% of men that are starting out skinny fat or just fat.

Aesthetics are all about proportion. If you already got decent legs you probably don't need to train them for size but you can make them look even better by targeting less developed small muscles.

Do legs have a load of subcutaneous fat or something? My thighs are pretty big and whenever I stand all I can feel is muscle all around my quads and hamstrings, but they're not very defined and turn into pancakes when I sit.
