Is there anything wrong with the paleo diet?
In theory you're eating the foods we've been evolved to eat. So why does it get counter signaled in media?

because israelites own the media
this
ahem... israelites invented paleo and keto and are the ones signaling against reducing saturated fat intake because they know it kills white people
Every diet that restricts processed food is good
this, however you should still make sure to hit your macros - even if that means cheating
(synthetic vitamins, naturally derived vitamins, coconut oil, etc)
>NOOO U MUST EAT OUR CHEAP CORN AND GRAINS NOOOoOOO
if that fruit is organicpesticide freenon-gmo im all for it
Vitamins are micros, not macros
>eating the foods we've been evolved to eat.
You've evolved to be a 5'6 malnourished moron with a life expectancy of 45.
Socrates was 6’6” roughly 220lbs and was 70 years old when the government forced him to commit suicide. You don’t know shit moron
>6'6
>220lbs
Lol. Lmao even.
But Socrates wasn't eating a fricking paleo diet you absolute dumb c**t.
>stats of someone that existed 2400 years ago
Haha yeah and my ancestors were 7'0 weighed 300 pounds of muscle and ate everything they wanted
Source: God told me
My ancestors were poor farmers who gained bad traits from lack of available food variety (the climate was harsh to farm in) from time to time, frick vegans, hate them a lot.
Socrates also wasn't paleo
We didn't evolve for any height. There are tribal people who still live in nature that grow to be taller than 6 foot and we also find skeletons of cavemen that were 5'3.
Your height depends on where you live. We don't really know what height we actually evolved for because we don't find enough skeletons of pre-historic Savannah hunters who were supposedly endurance hunters. That region just doesn't preserve bones well enough.
Holy shit, are you moronic? Do you not know that nutrition correlates with height?
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA how are you even operating a keyboard? Are you even sentient?
>You've evolved to be a 5'6 malnourished moron with a life expectancy of 45.
You're moronic
Humans are just not getting back to the height that they were prior to the agricultural revolution
Malnourishment was never an issue for hunter-gatherer tribes.
They were physically and mentally superior to modern humans based on physical prowess and brain size.
What agriculture did was allow people to set roots instead of following their food around and set the foundations for modern c*vilization
Life expectancy was low because modern medicine significantly cuts down on that child/ infant mortality rate.
Fricking hell lad.
Nobody believes your bullshit anymore, israelite.
*just now
Hunter gatherers only had very very few numbers of people in any given area (a good thing) but it made them virtually incapable of fending off or resisting demographic replacement when farmers started spreading out from Anatolia or where ever the frick it was.
Truth is most of them probably willingly made the change. It is easy to romanticize the hunter gatherers but the reality is that the vast bulk of them seem to have readily accepted the agricultural lifestyle and they probably did so for very pragmatic reasons.
And a plastic cup is much more efficient use of resources than a glass. Ones still better though
It's not really more efficient it's just wasteful
I think they preferred to incorporate into pastoralists. It's interesting that if you go to about 3000bc farmers, pastoralists and hunter gatherer people all existed at once relatively near each other.
Malnourishment like that was more typical of settled farmers than literally any other type.
Maasai tribesmen who eat raw meat, blood, and milk are 6'3" on average. You're describing civtarded bugmen who eat goyfeed (grains)
>life expectancy: 42
Yeah, we should totally do what they are doing.
>immediately changes the subject
Typical israelite
They have very low rates of coronary disease. Their life expectancy is low because their infant mortality is really high due to them living in what is basically the wilderness and not having access to modern medicine. If you have two kids and one dies one day after being born and the other lives to 100 then the life expectancy will only be 50.
No, it is objectively the best diet
>why does it get counter signaled in ~~*media*~~
processed grains and seed oils are abundant, easy to control, and cheap. they're low risk / high safety for governments to reliably sustain food security.
Not for the people though as high estrogen causes breast cancer.
Its also neuroprotective, cardioprotective, makes humans taller, increases libido, nootropic, increases bone density and makes you physically stronger.
You need meat to increase libido and muscle building most of the time as most androgenic support is found in organic meats, dairy and eggs.
because morons think it doesn't include fruits or veggies, it does, just the natural ones.
Leftoids can't wrap their head around the idea of neutrality or balance between a negative and positive and only focus on one thing.
How quickly do you bros think you could eat all that food?
>4-5 days for me.
If I'm trying hard then probably same. Love that webm btw
MY DUDE THAT'S CLEARLY A ZUCCHINI
If a diet consisting of mainly domesticated weeds and leaves is optimal why are all these frickers constantly struggling with gut and mental health issues?
You are mentally moronic to believe in veganism in the first place, there's nothing in history that would dictate us to be plant eaters solely.
Lol normies believe someone like this is a nutrition expert
And pimples
>In theory you're eating the foods we've been evolved to eat.So why does it get counter signaled in media?
This means nothing. We could find a distant planet one day with fruit that cures all diseases and extend our life by decades, despite never eating it once in human history.
All while disease has existed all throughout human history from eating the "foods we have evolved to eat".
True, but it would have to be something our bodies have evolved to favor, even if it turns out to be coincidental (just like in your example), so what our evolution has favored is still optimal, wether it's naturally found (wild game) or man-made (artificial foods, extraterrestrial foods--sounds weird, huh?)
>In theory you're eating the foods we've been evolved to eat.
No you aren't.
Domestication of animals and plants over the last 12,000+ years have changed them to the core, especially in relation to the over 200,000 year old history of the homosexual sapiens.
Fruits are larger, contains smaller seeds, more sugar, less fiber, are easier to digest and access etc.
Animals contain more fat, have a higher percentage of muscle to connective tissue, we eat less parts of it and again gaining access to them requires less effort.
Living like our cavemen ancestors is nigh impossible simply because the foods are no longer the same.
Nature didn’t change, so you could just eat non-domesticated plants and animals if you really wanted to
Always do the opposite of what the media says
>In theory you're eating the foods we've been evolved to eat.
But it's not actually true. Paleolithic humans had very different diets depending on where they lived, which also sometimes included insects and other humans.
>no dairy
Ngmi
The guy in the OP eats a good amount of dairy every day.
What the frick how can you be that lean and still have zero abs?
>zero abs
What do you think is between his organs and the camera?
Probably nothing wrong with the diet itself but the name and 'theory' annoy me. Half the food in that pic didn't even exist in the paleolithic, and actual paleolithic diets could be pretty much anything from feasting on mammoth or salmon to living off of seaweed and acorns or eating bugs all day. It was usually better than eating almost nothing but grains but we don't need to eat like that anymore so who cares? Just eat meat and avoid added sugar and whatever.
The person in the OP has nothing to do with the paleo diet lol.
Guy in picrel isn't advertising a paleo diet. The image is irrelevant to the OP
none of the foods from that time period are chemical laden estrogenic nonsense
therefore the title is accurate
if done correctly = healthy
Is it just me or are those eggs fricking massive? Like they're almost as big as the avocados.
Because it is the first step to realizing that saturated fats aren't bad for you and PUFAs are absolutely terrible for you. This fact alone makes "the mainstream" nutrition advisors (average doctor, nutritionists, the mainstream media, etc.) go absolutely bonkers because you realize that the rest of the "advice" they give is utter garbage and the complete opposite of the truth.
The average diet advice perfectly parallels the average health of an individual in any society. How more people don't understand this common sense, I don't know. But when you realize that, you realize that mainstream diet advice in the US (40% obese, 70% overweight) is really, really bad. Same in Europe, because their stats are similar.
>Because it is the first step to realizing that saturated fats aren't bad for you and PUFAs are absolutely terrible for you
>This fact alone makes "the mainstream" nutrition advisors (average doctor, nutritionists, the mainstream media, etc.) go absolutely bonkers
This is taught at medical school, albeit with more nuance and detail.
Are you the same guy I responded to like a week ago? I just finished a module on lipids (I'm in medical school) and I learned the lipid hypothesis word-for-word: LDL build-up in the blood causes a diffusion of LDL into the endothelium (yes, for real, just a spontaneous diffusion), causing an immune response and eventually coronary artery disease.
It makes 0 logical sense because it would mean the sole predictor of artery disease is LDL (AKA HDL doesn't matter, and this is not a true fact) and it doesn't explain why coronary "artery" disease only happens in arteries, not veins.
Anyway, this is still the mainstream idea blasted on every mainstream media site and taught to every nutritionist. If you're denying that, you are just being silly.
>Are you the same guy I responded to like a week ago?
No. Where do you study (doesn't have the be the uni)? I'm from the UK.
>LDL diffuses
It's facilitated by transfer proteins; this has been replicated in vitro.
>HDL
Is atheroprotective due to the RCT pathway among other reasons, is my understanding.
>why coronary "artery" disease only happens in arteries, not veins?
The primary candidate for venosclerosis is in something like CABG. This wasn't covered in my main nutrition module, it came up as an anecdote in a cardiovascular lecture, but I'd hazard a guess that as saphenous grafts have been shown to have evidence of "atherosclerosis", it's something to do with the pressure of the vessel.
>Nutritionist
Every nutritionist I've met has been fat and moronic, including my lecturers.
Anyway, my take was we don't understand the entire process but enough has been replicated in vitro + overwhelming population data that LDL is a factor, to the point where continued statin prescriptions make sense.
Southern US. Two points I want to make about what you're saying. First, no amount of population data will ever prove anything. That is why epidemiology is such a horrible science. It doesn't matter if 40%, 80% or 100% of people with type 2 diabetes are obese. Such a correlation would never prove that obesity causes diabetes. In fact, the same thing that causes obesity causes diabetes. But epidemiology forces us to be myopic, and that's why I hate it so much. Still got an A on my epidemiology exam though heh.
The second is that yes, damage to vessels is behind CAD, not the amount of LDL you have. How much LDL you have doesn't matter at all. When you control for HDL levels, high LDL levels have nothing to do with CAD. Metabolic dysfunction and inflammation is behind heart disease, just like those things are behind every other disease. I haven't read this research article yet but another anon recommended it to me. I'm going to read it tomorrow. You might enjoy it:
https://journals.lww.com/co-endocrinology/Fulltext/9900/Assessing_cardiovascular_disease__looking_beyond.21.aspx
The guy also wrote a book or something on the subject.
When I had a course on nutrition at school they told me that saturated fat from butter stays in your body permanently and eventually there is enough to block your arteries and cause a heart attack. This was taught in an actual school as was stated as if it was a scientific fact.
Yup. An explanation for why seed oils (invented last century) are good for you and why butter is bad: "Solid at room temperature = solid in your arteries, Liquid at room temperature = liquid in your arteries."
Media shouldn't be where you go for dietary advice. Hell you shouldn't take any advice from the media whatsoever.
I have never seen this mother fricker eat a single one of the nasty ass organs he proposes to be feasting on. Literally looks more like a California vegan.
wtf are you talking about you moron? he even sells freeze-dried organs in pills, that's his whole company. also if you think vegans look like that, your brain is absolutely fried.
[Embed]
>nasty ass organs
just because you are bad at cooking (i'm presuming because your parents never taught you and you either live on your mom's cooking or university cafeteria food) doesn't mean that food tastes bad. you have the mind of a child.
Paleo has zero consistency. It's just another stupid diet cult like veganism.
>no dairy!!!
Why? It fits every "rule" you setup, you just changed it because you personally didn't like it.
Also everyone that does it is one of those Joe Rogan, skinnyfat boomers trying to be masculine by following meme diets and doing yoga.
>only allows you to eat shitter fruits and not the 'sweet' ones
thats just cruel lmao, that's like giving a prisoner a bed but no pillow
You are mental nutjob, just eat natural, organic and closest to the fricking thing, if it has no human messing around BS (sugars, processed foods and GMO foods which are pretty bad in general unless gained naturally from foods) its a pretty good diet and probably won't kill you as fast as eating a bunch of tofu and sóy beans on top of dunkin donuts, homosexual.
Alcohol is actually something that hunter-gatherers most likely had, hahaha take that homosexual.
> Honey
> Water
> Fermentation from air.
> Let it ferment.
> Get alcohol.
Frick you goyslopper.
Alcohol is for pussies.
Bet you smoke weed like a pussy!
No, I have a perfectly good brain why would I purposefully inebriate myself? Anyone who consumes any form of boosters or downers are degenerates.
exercise is a booster. youre not a degenerate are you?
No because exercising isn't a booster. That's like saying walking or breathing air is a booster.
If you are doing breathing or walking meditation its a booster, homosexual spotted.
> But, you got to focus!~
You're pure Alabama Blue Gums. Go drink a 4 liter and lay down.
> Doesn't practice QiGong for mental and physical stimulation.
NGMI, mental and spiritual DYEL spotted.
> But I read muh books for that.
Experience doesn't beat wisdom all the time.
How the frick is any form of oil paleo? That stuff is cultivated like by definition
Why is he orange?
Full of Vitamin K and C.
include some dairy and its fantastic
200,000 years of existence and evolving, and you fricks want to try and go back in time and start eating dirt? Eat a fricking burger and go to bed.
I'll only eat a burger made out of grass-fed beef with natural organic wheat with my favorite brand of BBQ sauce that does it well, not GMO poison in me thank you.
What are you going to do, one day, when you have to eat something that isn't USDA certified grass feed organic, locally owned and processed with love? (Family Owned since 1959)
I'll eat fish and organic yoghurt, mercury poisoning? pfft not as bad as your microplastics and other shit (corn and sóy.)
what happens if you one day, go somewhere, or something happens in the world, and you are forced to eat something that isn't USDA certified grass feed organic, locally owned and processed with love? (Family Owned since 1959)
Eggs, chicken, organ meats, freshly grilled and caught fish no bugs, corn or sóy.
Farmers produce poison
Just eat bread you stupid gimp
>look at top left
>one meter long row of supplements
Guess carnivore paleo isn't as nutritionally complete as they say it is.
