    The longest you can go without lifting and keeping muscle is about 3 weeks

    T. I had 3 weeks off due to a surgery and I lost 0 muscle or strength

    What it did is made me realize the guys who obsess over high frequency (training every muscle 2-3 times a week) are wrong and that training a muscle once every 7 days is perfectly fine

      What do you mean they are wrong? Just because something else is perfectly fine doesnt mean that the other is wrong. Its also perfectly fine to eat just 80-100g of protein. Doesnt mean that getting 150g of protein is wrong. Quite the opposite, its better but sure the alternative is just fine too. You are absolutely just fine training 1x frequency. But you are never gonna lift 2/3/4/5 and look big as natural if you train like that. But its perfectly fine you can get a physique and look good at a gay bar 100% on a brosplit.

    If you take lighting, angle, pump and flex into consideration, then these two pictures can be very close together. Probably as close as a few hours. It's basically worthless as a comparison.

    Yes but you have to be an idiot to let that happen. I couldn't lift for 9 months and I was restricted to pushups, pullups and dips if I was lucky. 4 hours of sleep on average and around 40g of protein on a good day. I think I lifted a maximum of 8 times between March and September. Obviously lost strength and some mass but nothing dramatic. You can maintain a good physique even under dogshit conditions.

            I up the weight when it feels right on compound movements and increase the reps before increasing the weight on isolations. So for curls let's say I'd start with 8 reps, then 10, then 12 before upping the weight and starting from 8 reps again. The rep range is not the same for all isolations eg for wrist curls I start with 12 reps and work my way up to 16. This method has not let me down so far, cheers breh

    obvious roidgayging aside, maintenance training is so fricking easy.
    You don't even need pumps or burn, just lifting a single set of easy weight to stimulate the muscle per muscle group like once or twice a week and you keep all of your gains forever. It wouldn't even take 15 minutes a day to stay a beefchad.
