      nta. Redpill on kettle bells?
Worth the cash over regular adjustable dumbbells?

No, they're not even used for anything related to hypertrophy. Just building "endurance" or whatever other memes they're basically expensive Indian clubs. If you're already doing bodyweight movments or db training they're entirely superfluous.

god no. any exercise that can be done with kettlebells can also be done with a dumbbell. adjustable dumbbells are a much better buy for the poorgay

        Adjustable bench

No, it's not. This "bar" in particular isn't long or sturdy enough for even decent lifts.

Brother, just go to the gym for a little while and try out the equipment there. You will either get a better idea of what it is you want to buy, or you will realize that they have vastly better resources and space than you can provide for yourself.

If you just wanna lose weight then stop eating.
If you don't wanna look like shit then stop eating and lift.
If you don't wanna die in your 40s then do all that plus cardio.
        That's it.

Bruh, if you're really that fat you need a diet more than anything else. Just go for walks or something.

Then get resistance bands and work out at your home.
You've got all the information you'd ever need here and on youtube.
Now do it or go away.

Mofo I just told you to do that.
                You're being facetious.

                Resistance Bands.
                One bar.
                Two handles.
                Two wall anchors.
                Four carabiners.
                Thank me later.

If you could stand being fat in public for this many years, you can stand a year of being fat in the gym. It's like being embarrassed to be sick at the doctor's office.

make sure those wall anchors are secure as frick, or you'll have a metal projectile catapulted directly towards if you ever use heavier duty resistance bands.

Better to use structural post, or something like a heavy wooden or metal railing.

        Anonymous

There is a huge difference between a structural post and a fricking railing (wooden or metal, doesn't matter). Railings only need to be designed for 200lb point loads in North America.

    No. You're gonna get trash.
I know using getto gear isn't supposed to be an excuse, but it's going to seriously impact your motivation.
You're better off starting with fewer high quality gear than a full set of trash equipment. You can always buy more.
I suggest getting a decent bench and adjustable dumbbells.

Find a reputable brand. Not everything is as expensive as Rogue or Eleiko. If you're euro, then get ATX gear.

Adjustable dumbbells are huge for beginner lifting. Progress will be rapid, and it would either end up being expensive buying a full set of static weights or they don't Progress as they should

I have a very similar kit to OP pic, cheap plastic dumbells and low quality weights, with that i bought some additional weights and a adjustable bench on amazon, this is enough to get a good body

Do Scooby's beginner full-body wormout three times a week until you can easily do 10 pullups and 20 pushups for three sets each with good form. If you're a DYEL or overweight this will likely take you a few months.
All you need for this is a set of adjustable dumbbells ($50-100, for the goblet squats), a pull-up bar (get a cheap $20 doorframe mounted one if you don't want to drill holes in your wall), and perhaps some pushups grips ($15) to make the pushups easier on your wrists.

Once you're strong enough to easily do the beginner workout with good form, move on to the intermediate program (push, pull, legs)

You don't need to go to a gym to build muscle.

I'd look on local craigslist first for better deals and sturdier equipment. I also recommend people find a gym anyways because the social aspect is more motivating. Personally wasted a lot of money on equipment that just sat there, versus going to the gym and actually training
