        Skinny fats should try to lose the fat, but eat higher protein so that they gain muscle.

Fibre is shit, it's a bandaid for people who eat goyslop diets to stop them having diarrhoea. It does a lot of damage to the digestive tract, inhibits nutrient absorption and causes gas that leads to this sort of bloat.

    You have to eat less.
    I went backpacking for 4 months, living off a diet abundant in fruit, rice and beer, and lost 20 pounds, for a final weight of 140 lbs.
    Back home I gained 20 lbs in like 6 months of eating normal food, and not walking for hours a day like when I was backpacking.

      There's a whole bunch of fat in your belly, and surrounding your intestines as well.
      You need to lose weight basically, it's not a quick fix, but phytoestrogens in hoppy beer is thought to cause a beer gut, by fricking hormones fricking around with fat distribution, but really any weight gain will do it as well.

            Not op but Im kinda trying to go through the same.
            Started to eat a lot more in my main meals, as in, where I used to stop now i go an extra mile and shove some more food. Cutting on sugars as much as i can. I gained 2-2.5kg in 3-4 weeks and the belly/handles are definitely a tad smaller

        It's visceral fat, it's subcutaneous fat, it's bad posture from sitting too much.
        You can lose visceral fat easily by cutting out the alcohol and amending your diet. The subcutaneous fat will take a lot longer to lose. The bad posture will require strengthening your core and spending more time standing and stretching your hip flexors.

    Been there anon, it takes time but it is possible. What worked for me is to consume more protein, eat healthy carbs (I mean rice, pasta and not junk food), avoid soda at all costs and do cardio regularly.

    It's a pain in the ass because it's not fast, I had some belly fat to the point that when I wore a t-shirt it made more of a bulge than my pecs. About 6 months after doing what I told you I still have fat but it's not as noticeable as it used to be. So just be patient
