I think you need to look around yourself. I see little few outside of social media.

Not even. They may go for a year or two, but they don't keep with it. I didn't start lifting until I was 28. I wish I'd listened to my dad and started in my teens.

        t. 35 year old who's been going consistently for the last 5 years.

They're not though. Zoomers at my gym show up in squads of 4-6, I see them consistently for 2 months MAX, then never see them again. Fitness is just the latest Tiktok trend for them. Once the trend starts fizzling out and the energy dies down, they will move onto something else and lose interest.

I'll never forget the time I went to the sauna to see 4 indian zoomers in there playing Tevvez out of their headphones from the Zyzz memes. They of course haven't been back in months.

what the frick? high schoolers have ALWAYS been going to gyms. The stereotype is usually that they frick around, socialize, and text on their phone more than they actually lift, but this isn't a new stereotype.

Hardly, it's probably 1/5th of them at most and the ones that go rarely even know what they're doing

It’s easy for everyone to get into the gym. It’s like everyone’s New Years resolution every fricking year. What’s hard is staying consistent and sticking to a routine with no excuses. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year. No drinking, no “I’m too tired I deserve a rest day” no taking weeks off. Eating the proper foods, getting enough calories, and actually doing the exercises correctly and squeezing the muscles properly. I don’t even consider myself strong or anything impressive, but I squat 405lbs and when I walk into public gyms I’m almost always the strongest guy there by a significant amount. Most people don’t know how to frickng workout. You gotta go to one of those serious gyms if you want to be around serious lifters who all mog you. I just went to a public gym in Whistler B.C. Literally every single male in there was dyel and doing some meme workout. No one inside the gym was actually doing the fundamental proven basics like Squat, Dead, Bench and OHP.

Who gives a flying frick about the sarms goblins. Go lift. Why are you comparing yourself to some mentally ill frickhead giving himself permanent liver damage at 19? If you compare yourself to others like that then that's all you'll do all day. Go put in the work to get a better body, that already puts you above 90% of people that can't even manage to not be completely out of shape. If you lift natty, in 5 years when they have to come off the juice and look like liverspotted raisins from the shrink you'll be looking great still. With a working liver.

By not being the major homosexual you are being right now. Just lift and definitely fix your shitty personality because based on your posts that's exactly why you suck

people that go the gym are lame snobby ass try hards that think they are, "better" then the rest of us low life's, like the gym is where you find all the npc's

      >try hards
face it the way of man is being better than everyone else. You are always trying hard in something perhaps in what you had just typed. You may not give a frick about working out, but you may about the guitar or running or boxing, etc. Putting on an air of superiority cause "herp derp, my hobby is le better than yours." is peak cringe. And no doing heroin is not a fricking hobby.

Top fricking Cope. Keep telling yourself that, maybe one day you might even believe it. No matter what you say you know on the inside your only justifying your own laziness. Of course people who go to the gym are "try hards" we're trying hard at life. If you can't find it within yourself to self improve then you've already lost.

I think you're confusing social media with real life, the vast majority of people don't post anything or barely anything. Everyone looks at it, but the people posting everything you see is a small section.

Of course everyone is going to the gym now. Every prostitute has access to chad on dating apps so they're spoiled. Can't get laid without a six pack nowadays even though the women are all pudgy and useless.

Even most of those working out at 15 will be fat by 30.

Don't worry about being behind, it's a marathon not a sprint. You will be elite in your 30s if you stay disciplined.

I do wish I started earlier, but hindsight is always 20/20 anon, also not as many people actually go to the gym as you think, your perception is warped by being online too much.

It's getting crazy, 10-15 years ago lifting was very rare thing to do and being built made you stand out, now every guy in their 20s and 30s lifts, most men in any college class, bar, etc have abs and defined arms and shoulders
