Have you considered that the current farming methods are not sustainable and strip the earth of the nutrition plants need? You'd need to eat 8 oranges to get the same amount of vitamin A your grandparents got from eating a single orange.

it was never possible... are you implying it was possible historically? Then name one people who survived on fruits and vegetables alone

Thats assuming the oranges they ate had the exact amount needed. You can meet your needs by eating real food an maybe taking a multi if you want

Multis usually give little to no vitamins, if they gave enough they would be the size of a golf ball. You're better off buying 1 vitamin pills individually for the ones you care.

How do you know this? Did you get a blood test after successfully tracking and fulfilling your micronutrient needs for like 3 months, or did some 140lb influencer told you and you blindly believed them?

I take centrum. They were 12 dollars for 120 pills => 0.10 dollars per pill
I use them on days when I don’t eat many/any vegetables

Such amount of magnesium busglycinate pills (with only 25-33% of daily norm per pill) will cost you $20 at bare minimum.
Your multivit is a total shit.

Do we need anymore proof "MUH SOIL DEPLETION" is just a scam perpetuated by the pill industry?

It is true but it mainly effects plant foods.

It's not just soil as in case with bread in article.
Many institutions were tracking nutrients for decades and their findings are tragic. -30 or even -40% loss in essential nutrients

MonSanto will be very happy when the only way to grow is in greenhouses, upside down, with their fertilizer.

I want to build my wife a nice greenhouse, but with stained glass church windows instead of clear glass. And it'll only grow tropical fruit, in an enclosed year-round ecosystem.

You should repurpose a church pew to make a bench inside the greenhouse too, it fits the stained glass idea

They are already happy. Their business model is to come up with pesticides that kill 99.9% of plants and a bugs. Find a plant that it doesn't kill. Put genes from that plant into crops. Now you have toxic dead soil where you can grow only their seeds.
The issue is that plants need bacteria and fungus in the soil to absorb nutrients. On top of that, plants produce vitamins to fight insects and other plant. No bacteria+no fungus+no insects+no weeds+pesticides+insecticides=toxic empty calories that are a complete garbage. No one should ever eat gmo toxic wasteproducts.

Yes, it's real. We live in Hell. Even fruits and vegetables are getting worse and worse, and less nutritious. Nothing is sacred anymore. Everything will become plastic, seed oils, gay sex, and xenoestrogen.
