Frick you OP for making me look up and read the actual article. They are using a diabetes medicine that mimics GLP-1 hormone which tricks the user into feeling full. This medicine requires weekly injections and can only be used over a 2 year period max. The injections cost just under 80 pounds so most fatties are already priced out. The vast majority of subjects regained the weight once off the drug and average subjects had only lost about 1/10th of the body weight over the trial period. Still requires calorie restriction and excercise to be effective.
Tldr needs diet and excercise fatties get fat once off the drug

I guarantee it'll interfere with the body's ability to naturally produce the hormone, so when you stop taking it you'll never feel full again causing you to get even fatter unless you hop back on the drug.

Yep, this. It's always the same shit. It always baffles me how doctors make the same mistakes as many roiders and have the audacity to feel superior.

And there's zero reason to take this anyway, caffeine and ephedrine do the same thing at a tiny fraction of the costs with far fewer side effects.

So you’re complaining a 250 lb man lost 25lbs down to 225 just from this drug? Sounds pretty alright to me. Also the first study I found showed 15% over a bit over a year. Down 37.5 lbs is definitely worth it if youre a fatty.

I don't think it's gonna work, because the use of this medication prevents people from feeling the physical need for food. But these fat fricks eat for comfort, not for satiety, aka the problem is of psychological nature. Who's to say that they won't just keep eating like pigs even while taking the treatment? Especially considering that, as far as they're concerned, they've taken the magic drug that solves it all of their problems and they can eat guilt free?

Semaglutide is magic. Considering buying some for my next cut to make it super-easy mode

I read into the use of Ozempic and while most people say they just feel fuller with smaller meals, some even report disgust at food once they finish eating.

Basically if you want to replicate the results of Ozempic, simply make a protein shake with psyllium husk

    >Semaglutide injection may increase the risk that you will develop tumors of the thyroid gland, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC; a type of thyroid cancer). Laboratory animals who were given semaglutide developed tumors, but it is not known if this medication increases the risk of tumors in humans. Tell your doctor if you or anyone in your family has or has ever had MTC or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2; condition that causes tumors in more than one gland in the body). If so, your doctor will probably tell you not to use semaglutide injection. If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately: a lump or swelling in the neck; hoarseness; difficulty swallowing; or shortness of breath.

Unless they can create a drug which increases metabolism to any significant degree (minimum 300 calories) without increasing hunger, it would never do anything.
This drug will produce the following result:
    >normies take drug that shuts off hunger signals earlier
    >still eat garbage shitty foods and emotionally binge eat etc
    >wow this drug doesn’t work see it’s genetics I’m genetically just this fat and so everyone should accept me as such and treat me the same as actually healthy people

Just like fatties have to deal with hunger pangs and a burning desire to eat you've got to deal with expanding your stomach and forcing down food.

Both cases it's similar. You numb yourself to the discomfort in pursuit of your goals. b***h about it if it helps, but it seems more demoralizing than anything. b***hing is mostly pointless except as a quick vent. Drags you down.

It's be just like the surgeries. They will feel fuller quicker, but continue to gorge themselves well past satiety until they are completely stuffed and a a couple months later they will have lost any benefits the drug could provide. Then once they stop said drug the hunger they felt previously will return and push them to eat EVEN MORE than before ever starting.

Wake me up when they make me a medication that makes me hungry enough to eat -300 my maintenance of quality food, and then once I hit that immediately lose all cravings and hunger. Maybe it's ok for stupid women who don't know how to control themselves, which means more hot girls.
