Discipline. You have to want to reach your goal.

I go before work. Go to sleep earlier. There are mornings where I don't want to go but I just do it anyway. Only allowed to skip for the day if you're overtrained (you'll know) or if you're genuinely ill (again, you'll know).

This. I hate going to the gym after work since it is so packed and I might have to improvise the workout. The hardest part of going before work is getting up from the bed. Most of the time I don't feel like getting up, but I do it anyway

How fricking fat and lazy are you? I work 7.30 to 4.30 manual labour and wake up early to hit the gym at 6 three days a week. I also do a lot of overtime and go to bed at 11-12 PM every night. No excuse, fatty.

Why don't you go after work?

not OP but my gym after work is so much busier than before work. Who the frick has energy for a GOOD gym session after a work day? Just do it at the start of the day like a real man, then the rest of your day will feel easier.

A white collar such as myself. You sit at the fricking office all day, getting to do something physical is euphoric.

Realizing that the things I hate get me what I need so you just have to choose what you want to sacrifice I guess

Just keep at it for a couple weeks and you'll get used to it.

I go to the gym directly after work. This way I have several hours in the evening to dedicate to my other hobbies/studies. Also being physically tired in the evening makes it easier to fall asleep.

You have to go to bed at 6-7pm on weeknights if you want to do it this way.
Basically, if you're not in bed by sunset you're in trouble.

I work out after work. I find that after a day of physical activity I'm more alert than if I sit around all day or I just woke up

Workout after work. That's what I do and I am actually awake and happy to be there. Wouldn't do early morning either.

There's nothing magical about working out at the asscrack of dawn. Get your full sleep, work, then work put. It's that easy

I go during lunch or straight after work.
WFH 3 times per week, so works out nicely.
I tried and really wanted to be a morning chad but I just cannot do it. I used to go at 21:30 or 22:00 during my studies but then I cannot wake up on office days

Get in a routine in the morning. When it’s quiet and you can work out in peace it’s kino. Plus helps make you feel better the rest of the day / you know it’s done when you leave and go home .
