I decided I don’t like rest day
So I do an hour of kettlebell swings every day
It’s cardio
Once every two weeks I *MIGHT* actually even skip the swings. Not if I can help it though.
For example some mornings I wake up and I am too sore to start my swings.
So I’ll just wait a few hours, and then I’m good to go.
Every other day is gym day (lifting).

I just started lifting this week. After a good first day doing some small stuff like Hammer Curls and Seated Cable Rows, I faltered the next visit when attempting to do Dumbbell Deadlifts and Arnold Presses
I prepared by watching lots of videos on proper form and technique, but putting it into action just felt awkward and like I was doing it wrong.
Today I'm resting, and tomorrow I tackle Bench Press and Cable Pulldowns. I'm still motivated but worried about fricking up again and not getting good lifts in.
Any advice you guys can give on learning to get it right? Also, general advice on my routine would be nice. Not sure if two main exercises per day is paltry even for a beginner or not

For those of us who aren't homegym chads, Monday is the busiest day at gyms usually. Great time for rest day and avoid the crowds

I no longer have rest days, it's eithe lift day or pool day (swimming laps)
Worst day of the week ngl, but you can still do cardio.
What do you need rest days for? That's what the 22 hours in between each workout are for.
I lift one day, then beat up 5’3 filipinos in sparring the next day (for boxing) then repeat. The perfect mix imo.
Go for a long walk carrying one weight in your hand. Switch have every once in a while
based monday rest day enjoyer. why work out on the most crowded day anyway? 4:30am at open, packed, 5:30 after work, packed. Sorry, I’ll pass.
