Never EVER take lifting advice posted from a guy using pictures that are not his own.
Advice posted with someone's own pictures is generally going to be good, and advice with no picture can be hit or miss, but advice with stolen pics is ALWAYS just shitposting nonsense from a guy who has given up on looking good himself.

really depends on the guy, like everything, frick around and find out.

I've figured, for me at least, high reps (12 to 16) creates more hypertrophy, more burn, more pump.

5x5 never did anything to me.

I am similar. 5x5 gave me some beginner gains and strength but that's it. Currently working in the 8-12 range for compounds and 10-15 for isolations.

newbie question, why does pump matter? Does it indicate long term muscle growth or something?

Getting a pump means you’re working the muscle right, your heart pumps blood into your muscle because you have lactic acid buildup, which is the metabolitic factor for hypertrophy.
It’s not the only thing that matters since you can get a pump with pussy weight, but if the weight is right, a pump is an indicator that you’re doing something good.

Reductionism is based. OP's image is just aggressively nonsensical.

As a natural lanklet i find it kind of amusing but what the frick is with the recent obsession of ottermode on this board? Ive dropped in here off and on since its inception but ive never seen such vehement advocacy.

I started lurking around here in 2013 and I feel like ottermode was always an aesthetic certain people aspired to.

Yeah but they weren't spastics about it.

It's mostly like 2-5 guys samegayging to unreal levels. Like look at that ottermode general thread, it'll have 300 replies and like 50 unique posters.

My favorite part is how it doesn't include what lifts this is supposed to depict, the diets involved, intentions/goals, or any actual pertinent information. Shit like this is why zoomers are so weak and small. If you take images like this post seriously, you deserve all of the wasted time you will experience.
