>packaged cancer
>quite literally makes you a ghost
not buying it anymore while inflation has raped the prices. I like the fruity pebbles one most. Would love to try the chips ahoy one but it's too pricey.
>not buying bulk unflavored protein
>instead buying whatever shit is shilled by roiding zoomers on tiktok
Ngmi
>unflavored
the frick? what does it taste like in milk?
Not great, but you can drink it. In water it makes me gag.
diluted milk in water (not nice, but drinkable)
extra thicc milk in milk (pretty nice if you like milk)
the trick is, you buy unflavored so you can combine it with everything
you can add some chocolate flavoring for straight protein shakes
you can skip flavoring if combining with fruits or whatever
you can add it as an ingredient to pancakes etc without the flavoring interfering
unflavored is best because its so versatile
Tastes like the difference between skim and whole milk, like milkfat.
Whey tastes like that.
I usually add some flavored casein powder for the flavor.
>roiding zoomers
how do i cope when i see them online, there is something jarring about seeing someone with your dream physique and they aren't even 20 years old, will they die soon cause of the roids?
If you see someone who’s legitimately roiding under 20 they are more than likely going to be permanently stunted, with significant memory issues, impulse control problems, emotional instability, etc. Your brain is still developing for years into your 20s and most gear wreaks utter havoc on the systems responsible for keeping your brain on track to full adulthood
Coooope lmao
I know this is bait but seriously, if anyone younger is considering this, if you start roiding as a fully grown natty adult you will be healthier, smarter, live longer, and get bigger than most teenaged roiders who end up getting burnt out and turn into either trannies or literal menial labor morons.
>how do I get my protein?
>boiled chicken breast, egg whites cooked to a char, and unflavored whey of course
>yes I havent spoken to anyone in person in years, how could you tell?
Can you use this for salty dishes?
Like when you make a quiche or something can you add unflavored protein powder in it for the gainz or would that ruin the taste?
>sneak unflavored whey powder into skinny gf's food
haha no I meant for me anon who would do that
Yes
Is there any brand that is actually unflavored and doesn't include sweeteners at all
I hate the diet coke fake sugar taste
not falling for your advertisment homosexual I just buy the cheapest chocolate flavored whey
Less protein than Skyr. I really hate these ads. Just buy Skyr.
Why do you keep shilling this shit? How much do they pay you? It's full of sugar.
>full of sugar
Nta but Skyr has naturally occurring sugar because it’s a dairy product, if you’re that afraid of natural sugars but not the chemicals in this powdered poison you need to reevaluate some things
Nothing wrong with skyr, it’s the Nordic version of Greek yogurt, with great macros
as opposed to cookie-flavored protein? I'm simply shilling the cheaper, healthier alternative. You think it has carbs then you're probably looking at some meme-flavored skyr.
What Preworkout do you homies recommend?
Nice to see Craze finally back on the market
assuming you actually need advice just buy some creatine monohydrate and drink a coffee and save your money instead
What a joke and waste of almost 50 dollars.
Threadly reminder that these are supplement shill threads. All protein supps are a meme and a waste of money, none are based. Top level athletes who train 2+ times a day for most of the day, only need 0.8-1.4g of protein per kg of bw for optimal recovery. To think anyone on fit does more and needs more than actual athletes is moronic. Everyone here is fine getting 100g a day for an easy rule, and that is achievable with 2 meals with a serving of meat each, and if you still need more have a can of deenz or tuna: which has superior quality protein compared to protein powder, along with essential vitamins for muscle recovery.
*blocks your path*
Good choice, fellow ausgay.
Hell yeah, brother
>lactose intolerant
I'm not fully intolerant but too much lactose seriously fricks my stomach up, so I've switched to vegan protein powder. This shit is actually pretty good. If you're a leaf like I am the canada protein brand is pretty decent too. YGMI anon.
Oh and I'd go with chocolate flavoured "athlete's blend" shit if you can find it, have not tried that unflavoured shit I posted an image of, kek.
I buy a rice + pea protein blend on ebay thats like $110 for 15 lbs.
Their product name is "Ghost" but their slogan is "be seen." Makes no sense but their overpriced whey tastes good, I'll give them that
I just throw 4 eggs and milk in the blender
Look up uncooked egg protein bioavailability and suffer
What does that mean? Are we supposed to cook the eggs or some then then? What about the yolks?
Are you from monkeyisland? The problem with this obscure study is that it was done on people with ileotomies. And even if you do lose a couple of grams, BFD. It is easy to drink it all as liquid, just add one more if you're that obsessed with efficiency.
Ileostomies
>chips ahoy flavored
jesus christ hell no
it has onions protein in it it's trash. almost all protein powders have it making them actually hurt your gains
Imagine being that big of a sucker that you buy boutique protein powder.
fav supp
Someone please post the meme ones
DAILY REMINDER: Ghost is literally troony protein that turns you into a wienersucking femboy.
IGNORE ALL GHOST SHILL THREADS
Anyone knows how good are these things?
They're overpriced and kinda gross. I had one for the first time a couple days ago.
I don’t really mind the taste and basically get them for free, I just want to know if they are legitimate or if I should not waste my time on them
I drink the chocolate ones. They are delicious.
They aren't overpriced. They used to be but buy them in bulk on Amazon and its very similar price to powder but more convenient and they taste better. Im in my 30s now and can't be bothered with shit tasting powder and constantly washing shaker bottles.
As a Bong, I thought I was blessed when I discovered Matrix Nutrition's Anabolic Gold.
It was cheap as frick
The macros were great (for non bulkers)
The taste was pretty decent (chocolate), especially mixed with a bit of 0 fat yoghurt and natural peanut butter.
I ordered religiously from them for years, but the latest tub tasted different.
The scoop size was different but they claimed all the same macros, but the taste, oh the taste. Cheap, chalky, watery. Really disgusting. Can barely choke it down day to day.
I know taste is the smallest factor in protein, and I could live with it. But I just want the old stuff back.
I either hope I just got a bad batch and they haven't actually changed anything. Or I experiment with flavours in the hopes I find a good one. OR I jump ship from Matrix and begin paying out the ass again.
Macros?
The Ghost energy drinks are great, I drink one just about every day before work
>tfw had the Swedish Fish flavor ONCE and now I can't find it anywhere in stores or the gym
I just want to say I tried this for the first time today and it's mid af
Extreme Milk chocolate flavor is better. Give it a go
I'm gonna go with something not chocolate next I think, besides the one I posted I only tried cookie n creme
What would you recommend?
ON is a solid brand but just be prepared to have it not taste great. Good for just guzzling down.
BSN Syntha6 is great tasting but has more sugar and carbs than other brands
Dymatize used to be good 8yrs ago but I haven't had it in years full disclosure
Im a 32yr old lazy gay and I buy the ready to drink Muscle Milk bottles personally
All of their flavors are "mid" as the kids say. ON is solid because the price, macros are good and its relatively "clean" for a supplement and has great mixability. BUT...every single one of their flavors is just average.
fr fr
I like to put the vanilla one in a shake with peanut butter, banana and greek yoghurt.
I only tried a chocolate one and the strawberry one from ON. The chocolate one tastes like cold hot chocolate, was chalky and disgusting. The strawberry one just tasted like strawberry milk. That's mixing them with only water.
They were one of those brands that were great like a decade ago, they took off as the best supp company on Amazon and then cut corners all over the place. Their supps are dogshit now.
>is literally a waste product, gut microbiome and health destroying artificial sweeteners, constantly found to be filled with all sorts of toxic heavy metals, fillers, uses whatever cheapest whey they can get at the time, fake ingredients to fool protein amount testing (nitrogens), you only need 0.7-1g per pound of LEAN body mass in protein, literally has onions products in almost all of them, huge diminishing returns unlike real food so more than 20g-30g from it is absolutely useless, lack of real micronutrients
It's also now so expensive you should literally be eating real food if only because it can work out cheaper too.
While I doubt there's actually 60g of protein in two scoops it's decent enough for the price as a poorgay
They're good and cheap.
God those things are fricking disgusting, gave me horrible stomach pains on the two occasions I drank them too
>inb4 lactose intolerant
I drink at least a half gallon of milk a day that's not the case
>Cheap
3 dollars lmao
>inb4 poorgay
I'd rather buy protein bars at that point, and it'd be cheaper.
these were my shit for about 3 years but they are always $2.99 now. I switched back to the powder
> ROCKING PROTEIN _ON_ THE PROTEIN ROCKER!!!
Literal slop. Just drink milk for protein.
Okay bloatlord
>milk for protein.
>drinking another animals tit milk
Arnold said, "Milk is for babied, when you grow up you have to drink beer!"
It's very good, and very overpriced.
I like dymatize casein
This is legit good stuff
Mix with a couple whole eggs for the best shake
Egg whites impair the absorption of and bind to biotin in the body leading to severe deficiencies of it if taken frequently or in large amounts (i.e. that)
the avidin protein which does that is neutralized by the pasteurization process.
you can always supplement with biotin if you want an insurance policy. its dirt cheap.
also, the yolk in whole eggs contains more biotin than the biotin binding capacity of the avidin in the whites. so, you can eat as many whole, raw eggs as you want.
