the frick? what does it taste like in milk?

Not great, but you can drink it. In water it makes me gag.

        Anonymous

diluted milk in water (not nice, but drinkable)
extra thicc milk in milk (pretty nice if you like milk)

the trick is, you buy unflavored so you can combine it with everything
you can add some chocolate flavoring for straight protein shakes
you can skip flavoring if combining with fruits or whatever
you can add it as an ingredient to pancakes etc without the flavoring interfering
unflavored is best because its so versatile

Tastes like the difference between skim and whole milk, like milkfat.
        Whey tastes like that.
I usually add some flavored casein powder for the flavor.

      >roiding zoomers
how do i cope when i see them online, there is something jarring about seeing someone with your dream physique and they aren't even 20 years old, will they die soon cause of the roids?

        Anonymous

If you see someone who’s legitimately roiding under 20 they are more than likely going to be permanently stunted, with significant memory issues, impulse control problems, emotional instability, etc. Your brain is still developing for years into your 20s and most gear wreaks utter havoc on the systems responsible for keeping your brain on track to full adulthood

I know this is bait but seriously, if anyone younger is considering this, if you start roiding as a fully grown natty adult you will be healthier, smarter, live longer, and get bigger than most teenaged roiders who end up getting burnt out and turn into either trannies or literal menial labor morons.

Nta but Skyr has naturally occurring sugar because it’s a dairy product, if you’re that afraid of natural sugars but not the chemicals in this powdered poison you need to reevaluate some things

Nothing wrong with skyr, it’s the Nordic version of Greek yogurt, with great macros

Threadly reminder that these are supplement shill threads. All protein supps are a meme and a waste of money, none are based. Top level athletes who train 2+ times a day for most of the day, only need 0.8-1.4g of protein per kg of bw for optimal recovery. To think anyone on fit does more and needs more than actual athletes is moronic. Everyone here is fine getting 100g a day for an easy rule, and that is achievable with 2 meals with a serving of meat each, and if you still need more have a can of deenz or tuna: which has superior quality protein compared to protein powder, along with essential vitamins for muscle recovery.

They aren't overpriced. They used to be but buy them in bulk on Amazon and its very similar price to powder but more convenient and they taste better. Im in my 30s now and can't be bothered with shit tasting powder and constantly washing shaker bottles.

As a Bong, I thought I was blessed when I discovered Matrix Nutrition's Anabolic Gold.
    It was cheap as frick
The macros were great (for non bulkers)
The taste was pretty decent (chocolate), especially mixed with a bit of 0 fat yoghurt and natural peanut butter.
I ordered religiously from them for years, but the latest tub tasted different.
The scoop size was different but they claimed all the same macros, but the taste, oh the taste. Cheap, chalky, watery. Really disgusting. Can barely choke it down day to day.
I know taste is the smallest factor in protein, and I could live with it. But I just want the old stuff back.
I either hope I just got a bad batch and they haven't actually changed anything. Or I experiment with flavours in the hopes I find a good one. OR I jump ship from Matrix and begin paying out the ass again.

        Anonymous

I'm gonna go with something not chocolate next I think, besides the one I posted I only tried cookie n creme

All of their flavors are "mid" as the kids say. ON is solid because the price, macros are good and its relatively "clean" for a supplement and has great mixability. BUT...every single one of their flavors is just average.

        What would you recommend?

          Anonymous

ON is a solid brand but just be prepared to have it not taste great. Good for just guzzling down.
BSN Syntha6 is great tasting but has more sugar and carbs than other brands
Dymatize used to be good 8yrs ago but I haven't had it in years full disclosure
Im a 32yr old lazy gay and I buy the ready to drink Muscle Milk bottles personally

    >is literally a waste product, gut microbiome and health destroying artificial sweeteners, constantly found to be filled with all sorts of toxic heavy metals, fillers, uses whatever cheapest whey they can get at the time, fake ingredients to fool protein amount testing (nitrogens), you only need 0.7-1g per pound of LEAN body mass in protein, literally has onions products in almost all of them, huge diminishing returns unlike real food so more than 20g-30g from it is absolutely useless, lack of real micronutrients
It's also now so expensive you should literally be eating real food if only because it can work out cheaper too.

Egg whites impair the absorption of and bind to biotin in the body leading to severe deficiencies of it if taken frequently or in large amounts (i.e. that)

        Anonymous

the avidin protein which does that is neutralized by the pasteurization process.

you can always supplement with biotin if you want an insurance policy. its dirt cheap.

also, the yolk in whole eggs contains more biotin than the biotin binding capacity of the avidin in the whites. so, you can eat as many whole, raw eggs as you want.
