I don't care about this program and I've never ran it but I'm always so disappointed at how the slightest, tiniest bit of complexity - anything that's not completely and utterly braindead simple - is just way too difficult for the general user to grasp.

This is your standard leddit brain at work. You have something time-tested which has been developed by someone who actually knows shit?

Screw that! I won't listen since I'm such a rebel and he reminds me of my daddy I hate authority! So I'll screw around with his stuff because I want the same acknowledgement although I know shit and reach a suboptimal version of his, but at least it's mine!

SS is a great first program. But anyone that runs it longer than 3-4 months is a moron.

GZCLP is a moronic redditgay program that is way to fricking complex for beginners. Atleast, SS is moron proof.
Hence, why we tell everyone to do it.

Everyone should do SS for at least 6 months. No matter if you've done your noob gains or a split prior - if you've not done it - do it. Then comment. It works, cause it's really basic and simple. After that - the world is yours.

it's an exaggeration of the motion that your body naturally leans towards when doing a heavy press

This, it baits morons into thinking they are actually doing something productive instead of just fricking lifting regularly.

Of course, the lived experience of thousands and thousands of lifters are "studies" too. Gathered information. Usually far more useful than what some non lifting undergrads come up with in their labs.

    >here I fixed it for you, you do 3 lifts a day, 2 of them are powershitter compounds and then one actual bodybuilding movement
Ah yes another fine example of leddit saving the fitness industry.

A gym membership is $10 a month. These routines just exist to waste people's time because he's also targeting teenage boys (like all gay people do) so they have the time.

    >3 lifts per workout

Bro those rest periods are way too long if you’re needing 20 minutes per lift. Ideally you should get done with all 3 sets of an exercise within about 10 minutes. Otherwise the intensity just is not there.

Why should I do SS instead of a PushPull (with legs inside the push day) if I'd be hitting all main compound lifts twice a week with a 48h resting period for my muscles to recover and repair instead of just 24h?
