lol newbie, we tell people to do starting strength to troll them
>Anything other than changing a single variable from workout to workout is just way too complicated!! >Failing a set means you switch to a different rep scheme? Who could possibly be expected to wrap their heads around that? >AMRAP? What the hell does that mean? This whole thing is just too hard for me to figure out...
I don't care about this program and I've never ran it but I'm always so disappointed at how the slightest, tiniest bit of complexity - anything that's not completely and utterly braindead simple - is just way too difficult for the general user to grasp.
This is your standard leddit brain at work. You have something time-tested which has been developed by someone who actually knows shit?
Screw that! I won't listen since I'm such a rebel and he reminds me of my daddy I hate authority! So I'll screw around with his stuff because I want the same acknowledgement although I know shit and reach a suboptimal version of his, but at least it's mine!
>lol newbie, we tell people to do starting strength to troll them
Everyone should do SS for at least 6 months. No matter if you've done your noob gains or a split prior - if you've not done it - do it. Then comment. It works, cause it's really basic and simple. After that - the world is yours.

>Complexity appeals to stupid people,
This, it baits morons into thinking they are actually doing something productive instead of just fricking lifting regularly.
this, holy fricking shit these sciencegays piss me the frick off. just go in and lift, who gives a frick about your studies and fancy shit, you fricking homosexuals

Of course, the lived experience of thousands and thousands of lifters are "studies" too. Gathered information. Usually far more useful than what some non lifting undergrads come up with in their labs.

STEMgay sophists write all this science theory about optimal weights and financial theory and all this bullshit, but are low salary DYELS. Really makes you think.
>bro SS is not enough volume bro trust me I got a 1000lb total after 10 years of lifting exclusively for powershitting >here I fixed it for you, you do 3 lifts a day, 2 of them are powershitter compounds and then one actual bodybuilding movement
Ah yes another fine example of leddit saving the fitness industry.
A gym membership is $10 a month. These routines just exist to waste people's time because he's also targeting teenage boys (like all gay people do) so they have the time.
>3 lifts per workout >takes 60 minutes
Bro those rest periods are way too long if you’re needing 20 minutes per lift. Ideally you should get done with all 3 sets of an exercise within about 10 minutes. Otherwise the intensity just is not there.
Why should I do SS instead of a PushPull (with legs inside the push day) if I'd be hitting all main compound lifts twice a week with a 48h resting period for my muscles to recover and repair instead of just 24h?
Literally the definition of SS and SL.
Oh you want to be aesthetic and have nice arms? WELL FRICK OFF AND DO THIS ROUTINE WITH HEAVY SQUATS THREE TIMES A WEEK

Post body
lol this is your standard seething powershitter. imagine falling for the meme this hard
>Not doing the accessory lifts
SS is a great first program. But anyone that runs it longer than 3-4 months is a moron.
So skip the third phase?
starting strength
ITT: midwits
GZCLP is a moronic redditgay program that is way to fricking complex for beginners. Atleast, SS is moron proof.
Hence, why we tell everyone to do it.

Pretty sure they are just DYELs attempting to troll.
Are you really supposed to do the limbo during the OHP?
no, the diagram was made by a fat powershitter
>t. chinlets
it's an exaggeration of the motion that your body naturally leans towards when doing a heavy press

This is pointless complexity. Complexity appeals to stupid people.
>It's way too complex for beginners
>Because it's so complex, beginners are tricked into thinking there's something to it
Which one is it, bro?
>Complexity appeals to stupid people,
This, it baits morons into thinking they are actually doing something productive instead of just fricking lifting regularly.
Define "lifting regularly"
consistency
bad program done consistently > great program done every now and again
this, holy fricking shit these sciencegays piss me the frick off. just go in and lift, who gives a frick about your studies and fancy shit, you fricking homosexuals

Those things aren't mutually exclusive, stupid.

OK OP, you start
>dubbell PPL workout
Check em!
just like that some Black person steps in and fricking saves my life

I like Gzclp tbh
>45 mins
>4 days
>hits the big 4 lifts twice
>fun accessories included
What’s not to like? There’s no better alternative for me
>3 lifts per workout
>takes 60 minutes

What are your lifts?
Maxes?
In pounds
S: 520
B: 280
D: 545
You rest for three minutes inbetween 500 lb squat sets?
Why should I do SS instead of a PushPull (with legs inside the push day) if I'd be hitting all main compound lifts twice a week with a 48h resting period for my muscles to recover and repair instead of just 24h?
>PushPull (with legs inside the push day)
Stopped right there homosexual
