          Yeah, you’re dyel. Find out your TDEE and eat 500 more than that for your bulk. The more you exercise and the more muscle mass you carry, the higher your TDEE will be. For example, once you’re hitting the gym 5 times a week, with actual intensity as opposed to just lifting like a little b***h, and you’re around 170lbs, obviously you’ll need more calories just to maintain that. If you start eating below your maintenance, you’ll start dropping weight. Let’s say you eat 1000 calories over your TDEE- you’ll bloat like a motherfricker, but you’ll gain weight quickly. Law of thermodynamics, anon. Find out yours and go from there. When I was really fat, since I wanted to drop weight hard, I was only eating 2100 calories a day. Within 12 months, I was down from 240 to 172, working out 5 times a week, focusing hypertrophy as opposed to powershitting. I was able to hit nowhere near the same numbers as before, but in doing so, I put more muscle on my frame so my TDEE became higher. Now, my maintenance is 3000 to hover at 180. I’m strong and I look good, but I can feel bloated the days I eat past that or conversely, I’ll feel weak the days I eat under it.

          It’ll get easier once you figure out how to get proper nutrition. A way for my to hit my macros and enjoy it is with fruit (mixed berries, banana, pineapple, oranges), doubling up my protein at meals, which I eat mainly lean ground beef, chicken, steak, fish, ground turkey, and occasionally my wife will make slow cooker pork loin but I don’t like pork very much so every once in a while is enough for me. How old are you, plus your height?

      There are too many factors, peoples work, how much they walk, and how much they have in activity, as well as individual genetic factors change so much. I know a guy who is around 205lbs lean and his maintenance is at 2500 calories. I know another guy who is 170lbs lean his maintenance is 3500. Another who is 230 lean with 4000 maintenance, and another who is 260 lean with 3500 maintenance. Same with people who aren’t lean I see maintenance all over the place because some people walk more, or they have active jobs, or at home they are up and doing things while others lay still watching tv.

      Increase fat or carb intake. White rice with butter is easy to eat a lot of and a great way to get extra calories. Or add in some peanut butter and milk. Both are calorie dense.

      3000/day is my maintenance calories at 195lbs personally.

    Dafuq? I struggle to stay between 2500-3000 a day. It is not hard to hit 3000 per day. I eat clean as I can, but it seems everything available is high in calories. Almost as if Murica's food is purposefully tainted to be fattening.

    It's so fricking stupid food has hardly any calories even if you're pounding burgers, pizza, and ice cream it's extremely difficult to put any weight on. 3,000 is not even maintenence, that's the worst part. Slip up the tiniest bit one week and you'll be down by three pounds body weight.
    Not sure what the point of fatasses gaslighting us is either. Oh come on bro 5,000 calories I eat that for mid-morning snack it's so easy dude just consume a gallon of milk with a whole rotisserie chicken and loaf of bread, won't even halfway fill you up bro lol srsly god tier light snack. There are no high calorie foods because adding cream to milk and drowning everything in cheese or added bacon grease does absolute frick all even when you eat nonstop all day the very second you can fit one more bite in.

      I used to struggle to get down 3k calories when i first was bulking and had to force feed, now I have no trouble bulking on 5k calories, never have to force feed anymore. I can still easily go back to 2500 calories on a cut no issue if I want.

      If you forcefeed regularly your body will adjust, the issue is if you keep listening to your body and allow yourself to stop when you aren’t so full you are on the edge of throwing up, you will not adjust upwards fast enough. Try force feeding for 2 weeks in a row, everyday, and I guarantee that volume of food will become normal for you. Further try to drink lots of water inbetween meals, so if you are eating every 3 hours, 1 hour after your meal drink water until your stomach if full again, and do this continually throughout the day. You should try to chase the feeling of being on the edge of vomiting the whole day, and after 2 weeks you won’t feel it again.

    I have the exact same problem. Yes i'm dyel (183cm/71kg)
    I was bulking on 2.8k calories but I gained more fat than muscle because I only working out 3x a week, sometimes only 2x.
    Just started a new job so it's going to be extra hard to get 3k calories and workout 4x a week.
    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
    also food is expensive,but it's not just food. I would have to buy new pants too,which adds up

    Make sure to get your 1g per lb/ 2g per kg of protein daily (at least 75%) of that and the reast doesn't matter where the calories come from.
    Just don't cut to much fat or it will frick your hormones and eat enough carbs or your energy will fly out the window.
    If you have trouble becouse you feel to full you can drink your calories.
    Soda is ok and smoothies and juices are great, becouse you get extra vitamins with these.

    1 cup of peanuts:
    >800 calories
    >40 grams protein
    2 cups of whole milk:
    >300 calories
    >16 grams protein

    900kcals in something that takes a minute to drink and tastes like a milkshake

    Invest in a cheap blender or food processor if you don't already have one.
