I started going to the gym to try and distract myself from thinking about my ex. Turns out being at the gym just gives you a lot of time to think. Shit sucks.

i do calisthenics at the park, walking and running too
      mostly walking all day

It's tough but it's just something that'll take time. But if you want to get her out of your mind you'll have to end the friendship with her. Remaining friends will only make you think you've still got a chance with her.
Do anything you can to distract your mind. Read, write, paint, hell even just play vidya. Anything

I’m honestly convinced that people that have unrequited love for someone and can’t get over that person have some sort of mental illness. How does your brain work that it pines after someone that, while in my personal philosophy is inherently unique, isn’t all that special from the next guy/girl. It’s usually never some one in billion person with immense intelligence or good looks and amazing personality. It’s just some basic guy/girl you fell for and now can’t move on? Wtf is that?
    I really can’t relate.

It's called getting attached and is a normal reaction if you feel that you two are compatible. Unironically just assuming that you should only go for the 10/10 S class pussy when you're like a 5 is being a delusional virgin

        >if you feel that you two are compatible
But you aren’t. Hence why your oneitis isn’t also into you. Maybe I just don’t have interest in someone that isn’t interested in me back.
Also, most people I know like this in real life are pining for people that aren’t just not interested in them, but aren’t actually a good match whatsoever and would only bring them to an early grave. It’s a mental illness and just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s good.

I'm not OP you dumb Black. And a person being special to somebody else is completely subjective, much like how only your mother thinks you're special

I didn’t think you were OP. They have a distinct way of writing that makes it obvious who they are. I can see why the general “you” I used might make you think that.
I’m fairly aware that the person doing the pining believes their oneitis to be special. That’s the mental illness part.

It's not mental illness to be in love who doesn't happen to like you back kek. It's bound to happen because emotions are unpredictable. The mental illness part is refusing to accept that and let yourself heal tho, which implies that there is a completely subjective and appropriate amount of time for somebody to process. Of course a hentai-obsessed spastic like you wouldn't understand. You don't sound like you've cared about anyone else.

You’re incapable of responding to someone without divulging into personal insults. Are currently in an unrequited love situation or something?
Anyway, all you ended up doing was agreeing with me.
                >The mental illness part is refusing to accept that and let yourself heal tho
Yeah that’s literally what I’ve been saying. I never once implied that simply falling in love with someone is a mental illness.
                >You don't sound like you've cared about anyone else.
Currently married to the love of my life but okay. Btw, I didn’t make her the love of my life until the feeling was mutual.

No, I'm just annoyed because you sound like such an asshole.

Take some time away from everything, i mean everything. separate yourself from friends, family, the girl. all of it for a little bit. think about the worst possible situation, she's gonna be with someone whos a mirror image of you but better than you in all the ways you never could be. assume that hell to be reality and it should help you move on. then you can start thinking about more things that will make you happy, weather that be a different girl/guy, physical possessions, fitness goals. but first you need to live in that hell for a little while to break that connection of one sided love you have for her.

going through life without making meaningful connections is pointless, the ups and downs created by those personal relationships are what make life worth living. maybe if you go make some yourself you'll see that

      ok i am back.
so imagine, you are happy. then you wake up the next day and both your parents are dead. doesnt matter right? just a random/basic guy or girl they were..
you must be very young and or stupid
