I used to ride to the gym in thick clothes for saftey and warmth, and carry a small backpack with gym clothes.

I want to get a cbr 600 but it would probably be my death considering I have two 30+mph over tickets and a suspension already.

These 600/1000 cc race bikes are cringe for street riding. Enjoy being out of the power band 90% of the time and being torquelet. Not to mention the ergos are shit.

I have a bike that I commute on in street clothes. My whole commute is less than 50 mph and I live in texas so I'm willing to tolerate the risk. Do wear a full face helmet though, you don't want a skin graft on your face.

I bicycle to the gym though

You go less than 50mph or your commute is less than 50 miles long?
      I'm in Texas too

Gloves are just as important as helmet bro. And honestly it's not THAT hard to just throw on a jacket. As a man you should be wearing good quality closed toed shoes regardless.
The only thing I excuse not wearing all the time is pants, because that's a legit hassle.

I have a home gym because I'm >21 years old. I also have a nice garage to park my bike in. Sounds like you have a /nohouse/ problem.

I used to wear a backpack with my gym clothes in it. Now I just drive my truck to the gym. It's annoying riding a crotch rocket when you're all sweaty on the way back.

Nothing drives a beta crazy like seeing someone with a motorcycle. They literally start tinkling in their pants from fear and jealousy. Motorcycles are dangerous but you have to be smart about it

Gl OP, I dreamed of riding from when I was a little kid but when I finally got a motorcycle I sold it in under a year when I realized my death was imminent. No matter how defensively you ride, no matter how much gear you wear, fricking morons WILL find a new and surprising way to nearly end your life on a regular basis.

I just ride with my gear and put my gym clothes in a backpack and ride past these seething cagies going 100+ MPH lol

    >bro you're gonna die doing that

Full gear with a backpack/rear bag with gym gear. I never bring shoes and lift in shoes.

Pro tip riding your bike to and from the gym might not be good. After a big leg session it is not enjoyable to be in riding position

On the third time I crashed my second bike with my defensive riding, I sold all my bikes and bought a SUV. No motorcycle ever since. But I’m so fricking lucky to be healthy with proper bones, muscles, tendons after crashing three times

ride with all your protective gear, taking time to put on leathers/helmet is better than losing months of training because you needed a skin graft or broke your leg
if you have saddlebags/luggage rack, just keep your gym bag in/on them. before I had saddlebags on my first bike, i just condensed my gym bag into a backpack

Too many braindead zombies in cars on phones to ride a motorcycle. It is a death sentence at this point.

I bike to the gym after work. I change pants and shirt in the parking lot so I don't have to see yucky hairy men.
