I don't get the appeal of skyr tbh. Regular plain fat free yogurt has macros just as good and cost a lot less. One 500g tub of skyr is more expensive than a cheap 1kg tub of plain fat free yogurt. Is there something I'm missing?
not greek yogurt, and its still cheaper than skyr
skyr has MAYBE 2g of protein more per regular yogurt serving, not worth the uptake in price

ahhhh, ok that explains it then
i lived in europe for a while and do remember greek yogurt being extremely uncommon, i thought it changed with time, guess not
No? Natural fat free yogurt averages 7 to 8g of protein for 100g. Skyr averages 9 to 10g. The texture of skyr is way better I'll give it that but macro wise it's pretty negligible.
ive had skyr and compared to greek yogurt the taste and texture is different
i guess its really a personal choice if that is enough for you to spend the extra money
greek yogurt fat free has just as good macros for cheap
here in mutt land the only time ive bought skyr is when its on some stupid sale, otherwise its like 3-4 times the price of greek yogurt
That shits gotta be a couple hundred USD. Skyr is so expensive here.
not op but that’s 1,49 €/skyr
yeah, something like that
750gr. of skyr + 1.5l of milk + what me mom makes for lunch/dinner
my ass would be having a field day on me if i ate that much milk shit in a single day
that looks so fricking tasty. for me it's cottage cheese and kefir, they go with literally everything
How much skyr do you eat a day?
