Why the frick didn’t anyone tell me about this? Is there a catch? Because as far as I see you could not only effectively bulk with these, but even dirty cut by doing OMAD with a pizza and maybe one or two protein shakes

You will eventually get malnutrition from the fact white flour lacks nutrients.
    >but what if I get my iron or C vitamin from my diet
    Then whatever

Can’t you just easily circumvent this by taking multivitamins?

Lmao multivitamins are a waste of money. They don't provide the same nutrient benefits as real food.

It’s cheese and sugary fruit sauce on a big heap of bread.

its really high in calories due to the fat content, and i think they may be counting the bread proteins which don't count. also the processed meats like pepperoni are pretty bad for you. maybe a lot of pufa in some, i don't know if oils are involved. probably use artificial shit to get people addicted to it. its as expensive as eating steak.

you don't have to use processed meat anon season up some low fat ground beef or turkey

Maybe if you buy the smallest packs for ingredients it's as expensive as steak. Shop reasonably and it's under $8 a 'za if you're really loading up heavy with all the toppings. Ground beef is underrated on pizza.

Seed oils in the dough if you don't make it yourself. Probably sugar in the sauce. White flour is total shit too.

my homemade pizza - prices sourced from Kroger, midwest USA

    bread flour $5.99 5lb
    instant yeast $5.79 4oz
    ~~*kosher*~~ salt $2.99 48oz
    San Marzano tomatos $4.49 28oz
    garlic $.69 bulb
Sargento whole milk low moisture mozz $3.50 6oz

Bread flour is more expensive but has more protein and makes a better crust.

San Marzano tomatoes are expensive but I can taste the difference. If you're poor you can go Kroger brand "San Marzano style" (not a thing) for $2.99 or super cheap tomatoes for $1.50

Whole milk low moisture mozzarella is key. Used to be hard to find outside of some string products, but Sargento's newish blocks are cash. Use cheaper cheese / more cheese if you're american

      dough (makes 2 large pizzas)
      500g flour $1.33 / $.67 each
      approx 5g yeast .25 / .12
      10g salt .02 / .01
      water 0

      Sauce (tops 4 large pizzas)
      28 oz tomatoes $4.49 /4 =$1.12
      1 clove garlic .08 /4 =.02
marginal salt, oregano, red pepper flakes, olive oil $.25

      cheese
      3oz mozzarella $1.75
garnish parm or pec romano $.50

total around $4.50 for large cheese pizza. up the price with toppings, although I often use leftovers for pizzas. call a pepperoni pizza $5.50

Again this is with the most expensive flour, tomatoes and packaged cheese. I often cut some all purpose flour in, but also use conditioners or honey so price is the same. Fresh mozzarella is obviously more expensive but it's not ideal for home oven temps. You'll end up with soup on bread

Yes there are bodybuilders out there who care about nothing but size so they bulk using pizza, ice cream, fatty meats.
You really shouldn't do that unless you want to end up in /plg/ though

    >Is there a catch?
Yeah, the protein to calorie ratio is bad.
Pizza is delicious, if you lie to yourself that it’s “full of protein” you’ll end up eating too much of it and get fat.
Just enjoy it for what it is as a special meal.

I would buy big pizzas from the food court at costco to bulk when I was a 140 lb skeleton. If you already have some decent size I would really not suggest that though.
