Just one meal a day. This shit works. I was 300 in June and 250 now.

Just one meal a day. This shit works. I was 300 in June and 250 now. I can’t wait to see how people treat me differently with another 50 pound loss by end of year. Former fatties care to chime in?

    Was 300lb Dec 2021
Today I weighed 170. ADF with keto refeeds and salt water on fasting days. Low intensity exercise ad lib (walking 30-60 minutes).

Happy to say I am no longer a fatass

How differently do people treat you now?

I had my first 1 night stand, girls actually initiate conversations with me now, and I feel more respected by fellow men. It is almost as if they see you as a peer rather than background.

Do you do any strength training at all?

None. Zero. But I kept some of my fatass era muscles and I am still young so fairly low excess skin. I like how I look overall but I want to improve. Will start lifting once I lose 20 more pounds.

        ok

130 pounds in 10 months is crazy. That's 6 kg per month on average. I felt hardcore losing 3 kg per month.

        [...]
I only lost 40 pounds but it finally felt like I don't have to penetrate into the circle. I just am in the circle.

Its on the high side, but I was in a race against time. I felt my youth and good years slipping away right infront of my eyes, and something clicked. It no longer was something I can wait on. It was an emergency. From that point on, every bite I would take during refeeds I took with awareness. Awareness that a bite can delay me from becoming my better self. So I made every meal count. Meaning that every calorie I took I took out of necessity, and made sure it will be nourishing for me to keep fasting.

    245->140 in one year.

Mix of OMAD, extended fasting, alternate day fasting, rolling 48's, 72's, etc.

I could have done it a lot sooner but I got attracted to a girl and started plateauing for a good 2-3 months, people started treating me more like a human in clothes.

Whenever I've tried one meal a day I always overeat during that one meal or gay extremely hungry later. Just eat healthier foods and you can consume the same amount of calories without being hungry all day

Different shit works for different people. If omad is working for op then op should persevere with omad. If omad doesn't work for you, then you should look for something that does.

Yup, works for me too, I used to get really hungry if I ate before 5pm, now no hunger or pangs and fat just melts off while feeling better than ever.

I can't do OMAD. I get insane hunger pangs and mood swings if I don't eat by around 3 or 4. Sometimes if I'm really involved in my dayjob I can sometimes forget until 7PM but by that point I'm lethargic and grumpy. Not worth it.

i went from 270 lbs to 165 doing time restricted eating, wasn't OMAD, just had a 6-8 hour window to eat. I would then utilize my hunger to eat healthy nutrient dense foods when I would eat.

I think time restricted eating is probably the most effective weight loss tool, especially for fatties. The major problem with fatties is that portion control is really hard for them, so just not eating is much simpler to do.

I “eat” twice a day and still see great results
    >morning lift before work
    >drink protein shake double scoop (200ish calories)
    >work
    >get home for OMAD (try for 1k +/-)
