Can you redpill me on kettlebell training programs or something the like? All I can find on the internet is influencers trying to sell you their newest shit

What? Lift heavy shit and put them down. Why wouldn't kettlebells work at that?

everything you can do with a dumbbell you can do with a kettlebell, its just easier to do swings with kettlebells. swings are basically just a cardio version of deadlifting. you can take literally any dumbbell program and just use kettlebells with it and its basically the same thing, the kb is just an offset weight so it will hit muscles a bit differently but its really not that serious unless you're some advanced bodybuilder

would recommend competition kettlebells because they have a uniform size that should work for all the common exercises for you.
with other kinds you might find you can't hold them correctly in all movements because of the size or shape of the handle.

Are you planning on just doing outdoor training, or is this as well as strength training in the gym?

If this outdoor training is all you intend on doing; KBs alone isn't ideal, get some gym rings as well so you can train pull ups and dips as well, together with a kettlebell you have all you need.

And don't get a pair right off the bat. Getting one 16kg is a good starting point.

This is what i do on days when i can't make it to the gym:

    RINGS:
    > Pull ups 5 sets to failure
    > Dips 5 sets to failure
    > Ring rows 3 sets of 15

    KETTLEBELL:
    > Clean & Press (one handed) 3 sets of 10-15
    > Renegade Rows 3 sets of 10-15
    > Overhead Squats 3 sets of 10-15
    > Alternate handed swings 3 sets of 15-20

Once you can do the full sets of each with good form, then buy a heavier kettlebell. then continue.

      >not including Turkish Getups

TGU's are a MUST-do movement with kettlebells. And I'd also recommend B-Stance romanian deadlifts. They seem simple but they will BLAST your erector spinae hard core.

My plan is just getting them as a substitute for gym. A monthly payment is not something I can afford right now since they just fired me, but don’t want to stay at home waiting for my resumee to reach a good place, hence the kettlebell.

Is enter the kettlebell a good place to start? I’d get rings as well but I don’t if there’s a suitable place to use them near my house, might have to do some research

Enter the kettlebell is a very solid resource - I'd also recommend Mark Wildman on youtube; good concise instructional videos, very little in the way of shilling.

would recommend competition kettlebells because they have a uniform size that should work for all the common exercises for you.
with other kinds you might find you can't hold them correctly in all movements because of the size or shape of the handle.

Seconding this - I find the lighter hardstyle KBs shitty to use because the smaller ball part is uncomfortable. Also make sure whatever you get is made of metal; cheap vinyl kettlebells are not fit for purpose and you'll waste your money.

Optimal training for bodybuilding is barbell lifting. Most kettlebell training is designed around strength endurance, because generally the weight doesn't change, so you progress by adding volume. If you do it right, you will become more muscular, but not in the same way you would with a barbell hypertrophy program; they're different things.

A pair of KBs, Russian Swings, Goblet Squats, Hammer Curls and Clean To Press. Good shit for shoulders and back in general. Also farmer's walks for cardio to get the blood pumping before working out.

    >thought I'd get another of the same now

Dont spent more than like $1/lb. You can get them on Amazon for about that.

My plan is just getting them as a substitute for gym. A monthly payment is not something I can afford right now since they just fired me, but don’t want to stay at home waiting for my resumee to reach a good place, hence the kettlebell.

You can use the kettlebell like a dumbell and do rows and curls, extensions, ohp, goblet squats, etc.

Kettlebells are really good for strengthening your core. Swings, deadlifts, squats and lunges.
