No-one buys it for that price. MyProtein have garden gnome marketing where they have constant "80% off!!!!!" sales. Except it's not a real discount because they just price everything retardedly high so you buy it at regular price with the discount and think you're getting a bargain.
I’m pinning test right now and everyday I feel homicidal rage at the fact that food is
1. Cartoonishly expensive
2. Doesn’t even taste good unless you spend 50 hours cooking it
Eat bread retard glucose is protein sparing and body doesn't make enough glutamine if you lift meanwhile it's like what 60 percent of actin is made of. Essential aminoacids are a meme muscles are mostly made of nonessential ones but body can't produce enough if you workout or have burns or whatever.
I don't compare myself to morons, I compare me vs my past self.
You did irrelevant maths because you just have to coompute so that you can rationalize your shitty purchase. The fact is I bought this pile of shit for 70usd before the pandemic.
>egg has 6 grams of protein >egg costs $0.17 each >4100 grams of protein would be ~684 eggs >684 eggs would be $117
>can of tuna has 20 grams of protein >can of tuna is $1 each >4100 grams would be ~205 cans >205 cans would be $205
So far it seems like eating food would be cheaper.
StarKist Chunk Light Tuna in Water $2.09
113grams of tuna per can, 20g protein per 100g, 22.26g per can
22.6 x 181 = 4090.6 g protein
2.09 per can, 181 x 2.09 = $378.29 for 4090.6 grams of protein
StarKist Chunk Light Tuna in Water $2.09
113grams of tuna per can, 20g protein per 100g, 22.26g per can
22.6 x 181 = 4090.6 g protein
2.09 per can, 181 x 2.09 = $378.29 for 4090.6 grams of protein
Getting 4090g of protein from tuna will cost you $378.29
Getting 4104grams of protein from eggs will cost you $307.42
Getting 4100grams of protein from whey will cost you £237.99 converted to dollar $258,35
so yeah, whey protein beat out eggs and tuna in price
>egg has 6 grams of protein >egg costs $0.17 each >4100 grams of protein would be ~684 eggs >684 eggs would be $117
>can of tuna has 20 grams of protein >can of tuna is $1 each >4100 grams would be ~205 cans >205 cans would be $205

well fuck... Once upon a time protein powder was the cheapest source of protein
bro if you're willing to pay that amount of money for whey you're retarded. I'd rather use that money to wipe my ass than give those greedy motherfuckers a cent with those prices
>isolate >buying when it's not on sale WHEN IT'S ON SALE ALL THE FUCKING TIME
Brilliant bait niqqa. If it's that expensive, get chicken thighs for 3-4€/kg, that comes out to 150-200€ per 5 kilos of straight protein, not to mention it has fat as well
Sorry, I'm a fucking idiot, it comes to 75-100€ per 5kg of straight protein. But you'll still get regular whey on a 50% discount for cheaper. Unless you're lactose intolerant in which case lmao @ being an actual moron.
>isolate >fancy mainstrream brand
Pic related is a mixture of concrete, isolate, hydrolyzate and some other shit I don't care about, I only buy it because it's cheapest per gram of protein.
I'm in Poland, a 2250 g bag of thos is 179 zł (34,5 briish pounds), 83 grams of protein in 100 grams of powder.
In comparsion, a 2200 g tub of mainstream, popular and heavily advertised isolate is 302 zł, 87 g of protein in 100 g of powder. After math, the more popular isolate is 65% more expensive per gram of protein than what I buy.
TL;DR shop around and avoid the mainstream brands, they're grossly overpriced. Concrete is usually much cheaper.
thank you Lord for not making me europoor
>brexited britain
>europe
even worse

just pin test, it's cheaper than whey+creatine lmao
This is true... now. A ton of creatine used to be 15 bucks for a tub. Now it's cheaper to buy roids from a non-pharma source.

Just get beef then.
It's good even raw.

Currently getting my test for £13 a vial (10ml x 300mg/ml). Meanwhile natties are paying three times that amount for a tub of meme pwo
What's the problem here? I don't get it. Is whey isolate bad for you?
>$400 tub of whey
>What's the problem here??
5kg is 5000grams
there is 82g protein per 100gram protein
that means there is 4100g protein in that bag for £237.99
Now calculate how much you would spend on chicken, eggs, tuna etc to get 4100grams of protein.. Yep a lot more then 237.99
I don't compare myself to morons, I compare me vs my past self.

More like $0.45 each egg
18 pack costs $8.09 dollars
about 6g protein per egg which is about 50g
6 x 18 = 108grams of protein per 18pack off eggs
$8.09 dollars for 108grams of protein from eggs
108 x 38 = 4104grams of protein
38 x $8.09 = $307.42

Beef heart mogs all of them
and food has nutrients other than protein

Imagine shilling nutrientless cheese runoff over actual nutritious food

Return to tradition.
bro you are supposed to just use one or two scoops with it, 5kg will last you for months
>He only takes one or two scoops
>one (a) day
4 scoops does speed up an empty tub for 5lb
>isolate

You're supposed to drink whey on top of eating chicken. It's a "supplement".
Just eat even more chicken
Supplement chicken with chicken bro.
Kek, really got the merchants in shambles on that one OP
It never goes on -75% sales, which is what it would need to go back to its normal price 4 years ago.
why do you guys go for the priciest supps it’s not like it’s jet fuel
Bong here. You know full well you can get it whey cheaper.
£15/kg is about the going rate atm.
>32yo
>mom afraid of me getting toxic stuff in online supplements like protein
>lets me use her credit card to buy protein from GNC
man life is good
I remember when I could get 11lbs of this for 60 dollars *crack* *sips* yeeeeap they don't make promos like they used to!
whey is useless, dont let marketing take the money from your pocket and put it into theirs
iykyk
It's five fucking kilos you retard, are you too poor for that? How about you learn programming?
Just buy wpc, it has less protein than wpi but its cheaper and it tastes better.
