Why is this guy giving medical advice again?
It’s energy. Simple and complex carbs are the energy source for the body. Cutting out sugar simply means you’re forcing your body to process existing fat and protein intake in to sugars to function leading to longer term health problems. 50g is a lot in a single dose but take one for breakfast or after a workout and don’t eat for a few hours. You’ll be fine.
Do you guys even read the sticky or read about nutrition outside of IST?
>Cutting out sugar simply means you’re forcing your body to process existing fat and protein intake in to sugars to function leading to longer term health problems.
eat the highly refined table sugar you peasant or you'll uh get "longer term health problems"
keto shills are trying to kill people now by starving ICU patients from necessary nutrients
Given the enormous worldwide growing obesity rate, it's obvious that current medical advice of "just consoom sugar bro" isn't working.
0% of the world was obese in the days before processed sugar existed. Only a few small groups of people, such as people who worked on sugary fruit farms, were known to be obese. What a coincidence.
It's weird how these people are so brazen as to tell big lies right to your face. I guess they figure that if they say it enough, you'll eventually stop believing your own eyes and believe them instead.
I’m looking at nutrition guidelines. And that one time I was hospitalized when I went to snap city they served me normal food. Not bags of sugar or candy bars.

Your defense is completely illogical, just desperate attemps at damage control and lying.
This entire matter could be settled in real life by comparing out physiques, health, strength etc.
You wont do that, you wont even post your obese body because you know THE ONLY PLACE WHERE YOUR DELUSIONS CAN EXIST WITH ANY FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT IS IN YOUR HEAD. BUT YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS PUSHES YOU TO SHIT UP THE INTERNET WITH YOUR DUMB REDDIT AND DAILY SPAM BECAUSE YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN YOUR DELUSION TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER. have a nice day, FUCK OFF FIT.
I mean if you're going to vomit up anything else it's totally reasonable to be on this for a couple days.
Same as if you're shitting yourself uncontrollably from food poisoning- you want basically Gatorade with a little more sugar and salt, as that'll be tolerated and absorbed way better.
If you're drinking that shit recreationally kind of dumb
Am I missing something? There are other things you can eat that are better and don't have that much sugar. You are defending street shitters and women over fucking sugar
It's really insane just how out of touch with reality modern "food" addicts are, and the lengths they will go to to defend their eating disorders and to deny their evolutionary diet.
Hello schizo poster. I was pointing out that dumb cunts are fixated on the "50g of sugar" when it's actually 30g. Kindly check yourself before posting, and consider lurking more, to save yourself the embarrassment of people reading your dumb fucking messages.
I mean, he's right, its a shitty drink, too much sugar, no fat, barely any protein. Maybe if you need to be on a clear liquid diet its fine, and the only way to get calories is through sugar in that case, but asides that, it sucks.
Literally all refined fat is processed. Instead of eating avocado oil, you could eat avocado. Instead of eating olive oil, you could eat olives. Instead of butter, just drink milk.
Why does this pyramid advocate for throwing away half of the food and only eating the refined fat portion of it?
Ensure clear is for the day before a major surgery. That shit isn't for daily usage and they prescribe it when you are otherwise fasting, hence the sugars.
They want your system empty for surgery. No one wants you throwing up or having to move around your shit filled intestines to do their job. Sugars are easily absorbed with little byproduct.
Holy fuck guys there’s a variety of these. I’m an RN, gave an ensure to an emaciated old man that had like 30g of protein. There’s still a decent amount of sugar but it’s supposed to be an easily digestible source of energy for people not eating. It gets the job done and there’s typically way more important shit to worry about like their antibiotic regimen or blood products or whatever the fuck they’re admitted for
Bruh, I knew an old man who almost died from a nutrient drink like this. Old delirious man gets carried to the emergency room, looks skinny but healthy. Gets given a different brand nutrient drink of just sugar and protein, which he drinks without difficulty. Within a few minutes he's unconscious, probably from hypoglycemia or lack of electrolytes. He'd been not eating for a week because of his dementia, which the person bringing him in forgot to mention. He got severe refeeding syndrome, but luckily recovered.
You said the drink nearly killed him, but at the sane time said he nearly died due to refeeding syndrome. Literally anything he ate equal in calories would have caused refeeding syndrome. It wasnt the drink

There's no error there. The drink was given to him and he nearly died. If he was given something with a lower glycemic/insulinemic index score he would have probably been fine, that was the implication. The fact that they offered this kind of drink to him was the problem and what almost killed him and this kind of drink isn't suitable (in my opinion) for patients like him, but it's sometimes given anyway.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. That was especially egregious since they 100% knew he had been fasting for weeks and they still gave him a concoction of not just sugar and onions oil but also maltodextrin which is even higher on the glycemic index than sugar. It's almost an assassination attempt.
I’ll admit it’s circunstancial but this case isn’t the rule. I’ve seen positive outcomes for people increasing intake with these before, that guy probably would’ve benefitted from TPN
Go away pharma shill, when vitamins are added like that most are not readily absorbable, this is just onions beverage for people who don't know any better and trust pharmaceutical companies and doctors far too much for their own good. 240 calories, huh? Sure seems like they would need a lot of these to even just barely survive. no fat, 52 grams of carbs and 8 grams of protein? This is insane.
I used Keto to drop my first 50lbs. It made it super easy to relearn portion sizes without feeling super hungry. Not sure why people do keto long term though
Many ICU patients use feeding tubes, so steak and eggs isn't an option. You retards astound me sometimes with your breathtaking idiocy. Also, as far as nutrition formulas go, they have many different kinds like keto-friendly, diabetic formulas, all-natural, high-protein, etc. It's whatever is best for your body.
there are egg or more whole food based liquid feeding formulas that have actual nutrition instead of just a bunch of sugar. problem is they are much more expensive and might actually improve health of the patients. once again showing your ignorance and serving the interests of big pharma like a good little sheep
feeding sick people sucrose and making their body fight off the poison is a poor way to treat them when they're sick. The only sugar a weak person should be consuming is glucose as a very small percentage of glucose is metabolized by the liver.
They are creating heart disease and diabetes by feeding them sucrose and fructose. De novo lipogensis happens the most with those compounds, about 10-15% of the glucose is ultimately turned into lipids vs like 90% of sucrose and fructose.
Just because they're a medical professional doesn't mean they know anything about health.

I thought we've been through this already, retard. >During prolonged fasting, a more pronounced shift from glucose to ketone body metabolism is reported with acetoacetate and BHB supplying more than 50% of the brain’s energy [54], thereby replacing glucose as the main fuel supply. Availability seems crucial to cerebral uptake of ketone bodies during acute infusions in humans [55], whereas animal studies suggest that adaptation to increased levels of ketone bodies during fasting is accompanied by an increase in the brain’s capacity for ketone uptake, at least partly explaining the vast increase in ketone uptake after prolonged fasting [37,56]. Thus, both acute and chronic exposure to ketone bodies will increase the availability of alternative fuels for the brain.

Not really true, gluconeogenesis is insufficient to fulfill daily energy expenditure and can't convert all fatty and amino acids.
And I have yet to see any data to suggest gluconeogenesis has any inherent harmful effects an long term health.

That's funny, because sucrose is 50% glucose.

When I want to cut now, I just lower calorie count and hit protein goals. I can still eat everything that I want, it's just all about portions when it's time to diet. Limiting yourself to fat and protein only gives you zero options for exciting foods to eat.
>>was miserable everyday because of lack of variety in food choices > exciting foods to eat.

Generally when doing systemic damage type of treatments, being in a fasted state is beneficial, as it protects normal cells and makes cancer cells more vulnerable.
You get less side effects while fasted. You get worse results if you gulp down sugary shit during it.
And generally, cancer cells cannot use ketones, so they rely entirely on glucose as the cells rely on a more ancient pathway that doesn't use oxigen for fuel generation.

He wasn't gulping down ensures before his radiotherapy genius. He couldn't eat solid foods at all during the treatment because of the pain, the swelling, the loss of throat musculature etc.
And you're speaking in absolutes about thousands of different types of cancers. Some are highly glycolytic (aerobically, though, not anaerobically as you claim) but many cancer types are highly ketone-adapted.

Did I say keto though? I said fasting.
And the study is about Ketogenic diet, I said again, fasting. Yes, eating fat and fasting both result in ketones being used as fuel source, but there is also things like amino acids being in them mix. For instance cancer cells can live off protein as well. >Please stop giving medical advice.

It's a moot point because the reason he cited ketones was to (wrongly) claim that cancer cells can't utilise ketones for energy, when in fact, many can, and some cancers are actually adapted to ketones. This being the case, the source of ketones being dietary fat or body fat reserves doesn't matter - in many cases of cancer, it will at best have no effect or at worst, actually promote growth in the cancer.

He is such a fucking mentally ill freak, I wish reality would set him straight. Instead he gets to plague the internet and shit it up endlessly because he can just get BTFO, leave and come back and pretend nothing happened. He has been doing that for years.
For all the good of the internet, the curse of letting mentally ill endless and unlimited supply of human interaction even though they would be utterly shunned and outcasts even by other outcasts is something...
It seems like his insanity has really ramped up in recent months, though. There are half a dozen anti-keto threads at any given time and the mods are fags and don't do anything about it.
you sound pretty shizophrenic
He's a typical leftist the only thing different about him is he comes here to shill instead of focusing on platforms like reddit.
Of course he also has his own subreddit. Kek.
>normal food
>that pic
It says in plain english calories from grains went DOWN and graph shows bump UP in fats & oils. Fucking retard.
>just eat "normal food"
>it's good for you because it's plant-based!
>don't eat eggs or meat those are scary 🙁
what the fuck are you sperging about now? Can you focus on your previous picture: It says in plain english calories from grains went DOWN and graph shows bump UP in fats & oils. Fucking retard.
more like everyone can see you screaming that 24/7 at random anons, anyways you lie by claiming nutrition guidelines advocate for massive sugar consumption and do that because you are mentally ill
>more like everyone can see you screaming that 24/7 at random anons
Me? Anon, there is multiple anons who are fed up with moxyte shitting up IST for years.
So they tell him to fuck off.
>But I'm not him
yet you are in every thread where people say "fuck off moxyte"
>but I'm just a passing by person who doesn't care and...
You also claim you are in these threads enough to recognize a pattern of posting of anons to attribute them to somebody.
So you can't claim you both are not him, that you don't care, that you actually aren't there every time somebody tells you to fuck off and so on.
BUT YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS PUSHES YOU TO SHIT UP THE INTERNET WITH YOUR DUMB REDDIT AND DAILY SPAM BECAUSE YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN YOUR DELUSION TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER. have a nice day, FUCK OFF FIT.
>strawman
I mean if you're going to vomit up anything else it's totally reasonable to be on this for a couple days.
Same as if you're shitting yourself uncontrollably from food poisoning- you want basically Gatorade with a little more sugar and salt, as that'll be tolerated and absorbed way better.
If you're drinking that shit recreationally kind of dumb
>good vitamins
>everything is 25% recommended dose
Yes goy just drink 4 of these a day for all your health needs
imagine getting btfo by a woman and a shitskin
Am I missing something? There are other things you can eat that are better and don't have that much sugar. You are defending street shitters and women over fucking sugar
coconut water moggs this artificial abomination goyslop
This guy is making whites look like ignorant subhumans and I don't appreciate it. Getting btfo'd by Indians is a bad look.
first one clearly didn't even look at the fucking picture. we're supposed to trust these hacks to read and analyze our medical info?
Feed them sweet potato smoothies or something
I like my ensure protein max, 30 g of protein and 150 cals. tastes good too.
It's really insane just how out of touch with reality modern "food" addicts are, and the lengths they will go to to defend their eating disorders and to deny their evolutionary diet.
>Apple
>Natural and artificial flavor
Natural flavors can't cover up all the metallic taste from that drink on their own
this is like your 5th MUH KETO thread today lmfao
This is my first thread in months. Are you perhaps seeing and hearing voices?
>sure you cured obesity and reversed diabetes
>but you're not eating enough sugar!
LOL. Mainstream medicine.
his pic btfos yours tho
vs 2022
Wow, a fat fuck lost weight, what a miracle. You've sure convinced me.
It only seems like a miracle to successfully lose weight and keep it off because everyone has been given false advice. Pic related.
With keto it's routine.
So he just lied to win an argument with no one? lmao
that makes the argument even stronger that ensure is even worse than a hot fudge sunday
>muh 50g!!1!
Reading comprehension. Sugar content is 30g.
The rest is dat sweet sweet high fructose corn syrup that runs in Ameritard veins lel
And that shit is supposed to be healthy?
its for fast digestion for people who are having digestion/intestinal/swallowing issues and are starving dumbass
thats why its called "therapeutic drink"
yeah man go ahead and make some chicken and broccoli for the person who struggles to swallow water, good luck
Hello schizo poster. I was pointing out that dumb cunts are fixated on the "50g of sugar" when it's actually 30g. Kindly check yourself before posting, and consider lurking more, to save yourself the embarrassment of people reading your dumb fucking messages.
Retard, I just realized you replied to my post which is a picture of a label of a Hot Fudge Sundae, which literally agrees with you
Why are you arguing with a post that agrees with you? LUL
I mean, he's right, its a shitty drink, too much sugar, no fat, barely any protein. Maybe if you need to be on a clear liquid diet its fine, and the only way to get calories is through sugar in that case, but asides that, it sucks.
have a nice day moxyte
You're still awake ketoschizo? Are you on a drug binge? You seem rather unhinged in your /fat/ containment self-post.
do you think once you posted this for the 1000th time you achieved something
He saved all the animals. Keto is dead. Nobody will eat meat ever again thanks to him flooding IST with his tears.
Don't bother arguing with keto schizos. They think people willingly drink Ensure for fun.
>just chug down 50g of sugar while fasted bro
>fasting, hence the sugars
Thats even more retarded lol.
They want your system empty for surgery. No one wants you throwing up or having to move around your shit filled intestines to do their job. Sugars are easily absorbed with little byproduct.
I bet they're also charging patients $50 a pop for those sugarslops
He got severe refeeding syndrome, but luckily recovered.
>source: saw it in my dreams
Heard of it while tending to the old guy as a nurse's assistant when I was a teenager.
Something pretty similar happened in a chubby emu video.
Can you really not see how your story is demonstrably false
No? Please do say how. I might have written the story incorrectly if there's some logical error, but I can't see it.
You said the drink nearly killed him, but at the sane time said he nearly died due to refeeding syndrome. Literally anything he ate equal in calories would have caused refeeding syndrome. It wasnt the drink
>Literally anything he ate equal in calories
LOL. LMAO, even.
I guess you dont know what you are talking about. Have a good one.
You're a hilarious clown. Thank you for brightening my day.
You are literally disrobing your own point.
that's not me
There's no error there.
>The fact that they offered this kind of drink to him was the problem
So inappropriate medical care killed him. Not anything inherent in the drink
But these drink are often the care, don't you see? They aren't appropriate care for malnourished patients since you can't know how they'll respond since the composition of the drink isn't suitable for all kinds of malnourished people. I was responding specifically to a post that had a story almost identical to mine, which is the only reason I was even responding, in my story it didn't go as well as the first guy's so it made sense to mention it. You just sort of jumped in claiming my story was fake for seemingly very stupid reasons.
People often do a lot of things. Doesnt make them right.
Holy shit are you a woman? This is some next level mental gymnastics lmao.
I accept your concession
Same thing happened to David Blaine.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. That was especially egregious since they 100% knew he had been fasting for weeks and they still gave him a concoction of not just sugar and onions oil but also maltodextrin which is even higher on the glycemic index than sugar. It's almost an assassination attempt.
How did they know he'd been fasting?
He did a widely publicized fast in public for over 40 days. How could they not?
What was the proof? Did they just assume he'd been fasting? Sounds retarded to me.
I don't know what you're trying to say.
I’ll admit it’s circunstancial but this case isn’t the rule. I’ve seen positive outcomes for people increasing intake with these before, that guy probably would’ve benefitted from TPN
He is lying
He ain't.
I'm sure you are not right and the doctors and medical professionals who designed the drink are correct
I used Keto to drop my first 50lbs. It made it super easy to relearn portion sizes without feeling super hungry. Not sure why people do keto long term though
lol, if critical care patients and old people were fed actual food like meat and eggs instead of sugar and bread, they would recover faster.
And then the medical industry would be out of work.
Feel free to try to get a patient that is barely conscious enough to drink liquids to eat solid foods.
There is a shit ton wrong with the medical industry in general though, including dietary advice. This just isn't one of them.
Sugar isn't food.
Might as well give your patients alcohol since it can provide energy.
I hope you're not serious.
i hope youre not serious
I said that in my post you stupid fucking moron.
whats your point you stupid gay
You goddamn fucking gays can't read either? Jesus fuck, IST has a literacy problem. Not getting enough sugar for your pea-brains.
You illiterate pea-brained monkeys are making me seethe right now. Please tell me more about your knowledge of acute care in a hospital setting.
you dont need any exogenous sugar. you still have no point
>Not getting enough sugar for your pea-brains.
And I have yet to see any data to suggest gluconeogenesis has any inherent harmful effects an long term health.
feeding sick people sucrose and making their body fight off the poison is a poor way to treat them when they're sick.
>De novo lipogensis happens the most with those compounds, about 10-15% of the glucose is ultimately turned into lipids vs like 90% of sucrose
That's funny, because sucrose is 50% glucose.
the anti-keto poster is the most cringeworthy gay on IST. Probably the one guy who's always butthurt in the based anti-vax threads as well
This guy is a double fake doctor. First, he's an "associate professor" meaning glorified student of psychiatry and his "MD" is a certification from a supplement company.
>did strict keto for 12 months straight
>every day was 5g or less of carbs
>went from 220lbs to 165lbs
>was miserable everyday because of lack of variety in food choices
When I want to cut now, I just lower calorie count and hit protein goals. I can still eat everything that I want, it's just all about portions when it's time to diet. Limiting yourself to fat and protein only gives you zero options for exciting foods to eat.
>>was miserable everyday because of lack of variety in food choices
> exciting foods to eat.
You can hear how this person became 220lbs in the first place.
>HIDE MOXYTE THREADS
>IGNORE MOXTYE POSTS
>DO NOT REPLY TO MOXYTE POSTERS
>carbs are sugar
???
all digestible carbohydrate are sugars
>tfw fag ratio over 3.0
metabolize fags and excrete them as acetone
>Get sick
>Drink fresh OJ in the morning and eat steak midday along with 6 eggs and salad with wild caught tuna
>Healed in under a week
>catch cold
>cold lasts normal time a cold does
>it lasted that long because of OJ and eggs
Uhhh
Ketolards are so delusional that they think they're experts in post op GI recovery now. Let that sink in.
Ensure is ghastly shit. I wouldn't feed that garbage to prisoners
My dad had to drink these shits when he had throat cancer and was getting rad doses to the throat and eating was like shoving nails down his throat. Its not meant to be awesome for you if your a normal adult, its meant to keep you from starving to death when you cant swallow. Any real doctor would tell you ideal is to eat actual food, but this is ok if you want to keep someone off a feeding tube.
>My dad had to drink these shits when he had throat cancer and was getting rad doses to the throat and eating was like shoving nails down his throat.
>cancer treatment while not fasting
enjoy your side effects
>sugary shit while getting cancer treatement
its like you want to suffer as much as possible
>its meant to keep you from starving to death when you cant swallow.
We have body fat for that numbnuts.
NTA but my father in law was in the same boat. He had stage 4 throat cancer and was prescribed Ensure-type drinks because he couldn't chew and had no appetite.
He's been in remission for 2 years now.
Please, tell me more about your cancer expertise.
But then again, lol at modern medience, fat bad, sugar good. I don't expect them to tell you anything sensible. Now eat the industrial waste seed oils.
Citation please
Look up research with fasting and chemo, of fasting and rad for cancer.
>He was running out of bodyfat, and becoming crazy underweight.
>and had no appetite.
I think you are making up a story that doesn't exist here just to prove a point you already hold.
>He wasn't gulping down ensures before his radiotherapy genius. He couldn't eat solid foods at all during the treatment because of the pain, the swelling, the loss of throat musculature etc.
Okay, how long did he fast for before and after the radiotherapy?
>A ketogenic diet can have zero effect, or an anti-tumour effect, or a pro-tumour effect
Did I say keto though? I said fasting.
And the study is about Ketogenic diet, I said again, fasting. Yes, eating fat and fasting both result in ketones being used as fuel source, but there is also things like amino acids being in them mix. For instance cancer cells can live off protein as well.
>Please stop giving medical advice.
dude, this isn't twitter.
Who said anything about being fat?
>Did I say keto though? I said fasting.
You said
>cancer cells cannot use ketones, so they rely entirely on glucose as the cells rely on a more ancient pathway that doesn't use oxigen for fuel generation.
>But then again, lol at modern medience, fat bad, sugar good.
It's a bit late to try and backtrack what you said. FWIW my father-in-law was dangerously underweight from months of chemotherapy before he even started his radiotherapy. He had already been involuntarily fasting on and off for months by this point and was basically a skeleton.
treatment while not fasting
>Generally when doing systemic damage type of treatments, being in a fasted state is beneficial
>>Did I say keto though? I said fasting.
>You said
>Generally when doing systemic damage type of treatments, being in a fasted state is beneficial
Notice this gnomish behavior and trying to shut it down. They clearly don't want you to know this.
The fact that you don't understand him and the difference between being on the keto diet and being in ketosis from fasting speaks volumes about your ignorance on nutrition science. No wonder you gays suggest chugging sugary sneed oil'd up Ensure if you're dying from cancer, you're brainrotted from corporate diseases.
You're a fag
I accept your concession
You're a fag with no basis in reality, I concede nothing and I hope you die, sincerely
> Look up research with fasting and chemo, of fasting and rad for cancer.
I want the research that sugar exacerbates cancer
Regardless, I think you need to appreciate that these drinks are prescribed to patients who are emaciated from their cancer, some food (any) needs to get into them.
Keto is a rapid weight loss diet for housewives trying to drop a few dress sizes. Nothing more.
>Keto is a rapid weight loss diet for housewives trying to drop a few dress sizes. Nothing more.
>keto keto keto
nobody is talking about keto..... fuck this is moxyte isn't it.
You’re ranting about sugar.
Only ketotards are so triggered
>enters thread because his word search fond the word he doesn't like while people are talking about fasting and cancer treatments
>I HATE KETO, KETO KILLED MY DAD!
moyxte strikes again
> this isn’t a “keto thread”
> keto is mentioned in the OP
> Literally shilling ketosis
> “nobody is talking about keto”
It wasnt his lack of appetite, he couldnt put down solid food because his throat was basically burned, he wasnt producing saliva right, and his throat muscles werent working properly. I dont know where you got the idea he didnt want to eat from. He started watching the food channel a ton which i eventually had to stop him because he was just torturing himself. Anyway, fasting would have only made him more underweight and complicated his treatment further
>I dont know where you got the idea he didnt want to eat from
>>and had no appetite.
>Anyway, fasting would have only made him more underweight and complicated his treatment further
Honestly it seems like you are just trying to make up a story to fit the narrative you want to deliver. Which is why your story changes on the spot and flipflops.
No point in talking to you.
They don't make shills like they used to.
You're replying to two different anons who each had a relative going through radiotherapy for throat cancer.
Do you know what "NTA" means?
faking a you or lack of it is incredibly easy.
yes that must be it, lots of anons with throat cancer fathers who all were saved thanks to sugary drinks
Throat cancer isn’t rare and fortified sugary drinks are often prescribed to cancer patients to address weight loss.
Anons who are familiar with ensure drinks are more likely to have read and replied in this thread. Anons are more likely to be familiar with ensure type drinks if they or a relative have undergone therapy for GI disorders such as throat cancer.
He wasn't gulping down ensures before his radiotherapy genius. He couldn't eat solid foods at all during the treatment because of the pain, the swelling, the loss of throat musculature etc.
And you're speaking in absolutes about thousands of different types of cancers. Some are highly glycolytic (aerobically, though, not anaerobically as you claim) but many cancer types are highly ketone-adapted.
https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fonc.2021.689068/full
>However, the HuH-7 tumors in the KD group even had a trend to grow faster than that in the ND group
A ketogenic diet can have zero effect, or an anti-tumour effect, or a pro-tumour effect. It depends entirely on the specific cancer line in question. It's much more complicated than "cancer can't use ketones".
Please stop giving medical advice.
For emphasis
>Consistently, KDs reduced the growth of the cell line belongs to the glycolytic subtype, but tended to promote the growth of the KB-metabolic subtype cell line. Therefore, the metabolic expression subtypes defined here have potential clinical implications in guiding personalized KDT, and further efforts will be required to validate the findings in other cancer types.
Not everyone is a fat pig who needs to follow your meme diet.
He was running out of bodyfat, and becoming crazy underweight. Fasting wouldnt have helped him with shit since he was starving. Luckily he went to a prestigious university hospital and got treated and recovered and didnt listen to schizos online with quack theories, so I still get to see him.
The point of Ensure is to help underweight or elderly patients gain weight. It's especially useful in the dementia care sector where patients often forget to eat
This is an actual medical drink that costs a fortune. I seriously hope nobody is drinking this willy nilly.
My mum was drinking those when she had cancer because she couldn't swallow food.
I miss her.
here's my keto blog post.
>get physical job for the first time in my life
>it's next-door to a mcdonalds
>start stuffing my fucking face at lunch times
>tired by dinner time so i make big plates of rice, beans and quinoa often
>become overweight for the first time in my life
>get on keto
>12 kgs lost in 12 weeks
>weight loss bang on my TDEE calculations
>one year later i have put it all back on but i don't remember stuffing my face like a retard in that time
Ensure is prescribed to people who need to gain weight, obviously it has a lot of sugar. This man is so retarded.
No shit, these patients are literally wasting away. They should be consuming tonnes of sugar.
30 grams of added sugar a day is a lot for most people, much less per serving.
Just because ensure might be good for recovering surgery patients, doesn’t make it healthy in general.
>Just because ensure might be good for recovering surgery patients
what is that about? Why is that good for recovering surgery patients
see
Anyway, the point I’m making is that it’s a lot of sugar for most people, and most people shouldn’t be drinking ensure.
Most people aren't, retard. It's for a specific, narrow use case.
Bros I'm on the second day of a dry fast any tips on keeping the thirst away?
Really tempted to drink tons of cool water
Moxyte isn't even a person
But the "moxyte" poster certainly is and he is found on every single diet related thread
I absolutely hate it that they dont give out crushed peanuts with their ice cream sundaes anymore, i used to love them but its not the same now....
