The only real purpose of keto is to “trick” brain via instant gratification with the initial water weight loss. This SHOULD make one stick with putting in conscious effort to be healthy and lose weight for a longer time, however it’s done the opposite for true fat brains who would certainly like to be lean and healthy, but don’t actually want to work for it. So they eat cheese burgers without the bun for 2 weeks, dump 15lbs of water, then fuck off and binge eat or whatever and do it all again.
Keto is like any other diet. It works. It may not be the best for you but it does work. At the end of the day it’s about cico. I really don’t know how or why this schizo is trying to say you can binge 5000 calories of just fat and protein and you’ll lose fat . The commitment he has to doing this, whatever his true goal, is kind of insane considering if he just put that same energy into working out and eating better he could have built a great physique over the few years he’s been doing this.

If your liver and Metabolism work well eating carbohydrates shouldn't be a problem. I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 and eating any carbohydrate causes my blood sugar to spike. I've measured it and that's just the way it is. If I eat keto and a caloric deficit my blood sugar stays low. My physician was actually shocked when I started doing this because I was able to reduce my A1c 3.5 points in a month and a half. I mean what is it that I should do, eat carbohydrates and have my blood sugar be higher than not eating carbohydrates? But is a general way for losing weight I don't think it's necessary. Between 17 and 19 I lost 180 lb by Counting calories. I ate carbohydrate moderate fat moderate protein.
