Legs

Easiest muscle to train to failure. Prove me wrong.
Legit if I so much as barely bend my knee (walking is barely okay), my legs collapse. Like I literally fell to the floor and got to my knees and had to push just to be able to stand again and even then I almost collapsed again

Man, I can only imagine how fricked someone would be if they had a physical labor job. Literally undoable after a proper leg day. You'd straight up get fired

If you can train your legs to failure you quite literally just have weak legs.
Your back should give up hours before your legs do.

110lb PER leg for reps is impressive. You're just a self-conscious homosexual.
Will be 130lb next leg day. Then 160lb. Then 200lb.

Tbh I exaggerated. I barely do legs. My sister is 120lb and she does more

lmao this twink is planning to double his strength in two weeks

Post body. Ya that's what I thought twink

Your post is quite contrary to the countless pictures of the "t-rex" mode meme, if what you say was the case, every guy 1 year into SS at novice levels would have dyel legs, which clearly they don't.

People have trained strength for years and got results, there are absolutely no way you can have weak legs if you can 1.5% bodyweight squats for 5 reps or more.

Meanwhile i have seen countless of beginners who been going for years to the gym, doing a "leg day" to failure and little to no results (except for the pump). You people are so gullible and think you can be the next Tom Platz or something, which as you probably know, lifted a lot of weight.

Your legs are a system and have to be trained in compounds, you can't do some bullshit isolation to the required levels to elicit real, lasting growth without hurting something, specially the knees and hips. Quads, Glutes, Hams, are massive muscles used to everyday non stop use.

you wrote a lot of dumb bullshit. Just google hypertrophy vs strength training. No, strength doesn't focus on hypertrophy which is why there are skinny fricks that can outlift people above their weight class. Such as that one "janitor" influencer

I literally never do legs. Give me one benefit of doing legs?

Just being more well rounded. Tb'h I never do legs either, but my upper body was too sore including my back and I didn't want to waste the day so I just did legs.

Suppose someone weight 180 lbs and does squat with 220 vs the same guy doing split squat with 110. How much force are his legs producing in each case

180 lbs + 220 lbs = 420 lbs for the squat with both legs. So each leg is ideally producing 210 lbs of force.
180 lbs + 110 lbs = 290 lb for a split squat. Ideally one leg is producing 290 lbs of force.

                total
290 x 2 = 580 which is the total. In the ideal case where there is a perfect translate between split squat numbers and squat number, that would be a 400 lb squat.

I agree. I never train them to failure on squats though, not worth it for me. On BSS or sissy squats I'll go way closer to failure or actually fail thoughever.

It's a little difficult to isolate quads in the homegym so BSS and sissy squats have been very helpful for that. Assuming nobody else here isolates their glutes/hamstrings either? One legged DB RDLs work really well for it but I no longer do them

Your knees or hips will be inflamed long before you can train to failure. Why can't you do strength training like people used to ? i see non stop dyels doing the "till failure" and they look weak.

Sweetie. I can tell you look like a twink for the fact that you've never trained to failure before. You literally stated yourself you've never trained your legs to failure. It means you're clueless on how hypertrophy works

Also strength training is how you literally build a dyel build, you fricking idiot. Imagine not knowing this basic shit.

Not any of the anons above, but what should I do if I genuinely am weak sauce in my legs and do feel like my legs are failing me after like 1 set of 8 of squats. I don't understand how my lower body can have such low endurance relative to my upper body where I can pump out like 50 pull-ups or dips easily.
I try to use machines like leg extension or leg press but it never feels like the joint articulation placement is right on the pads and I feel like I overuse my tendons/ligaments way more than the muscle fibre.

I need help to figure out why my legs are so sensitive to pain and why they kind of numb out and stop working after a limited amount of weight training.
