>Noooo I need 80% protein despite the fact my ancestors primarily lived on plant based diets and proliferated europe's population with 10+ child families
Gymcels are mentally ill

I'd say for the majority of people, it's a good diet.
You only need to increase your protein intake if you're a pro athlete. And that's like 1% of the population.
I'm pretty sure the percentage is in terms of calories not mass/volume. Getting 40% of your calories from carb heavy food probably means decreasing consumption of grains for most people. Getting 40% of the total weight of your food consumption from carb heavy foods would be a surprising recommendration
Unironically not a bad diet
Does someone who isn't a manual laborer really need that many carbs? What for?
So long as they are not hyper refined they are fine. Potatoes are even on that list which is the undisputed godking staple of any good diet
carbs are cheap and abundant. Gotta take that into consideration as well. I guess you could cut out carbs and introduce more fats and protein
If you use your brain all day you need that many carbs as well
It's not about health, it's about profit, and grains are immensely profitable slop. Simple as that, really.
Post body
Crickets.
Shut up schizo

Interesting...
You need one gram per pound of bodyweight to build muscle. What are you doing on IST?
>my ancestors primarily lived on plant based diets
>source? i just made it up :~~*
Plant based =/= vegan you utter retarded ketolard.
Plant based is literally just the food pyramid. 80% grains + veggies, and 20% meats + dairy
I personally would exchange so the vegetables were at the bottom of the pyramid then carbs
