        routine for delts?

      Anonymous

Not OP but I pretty much do an upper body, rings only routine once a week and recently started doing dumbbell stuff for lower body as well as MMA. Rope skipping for cardio since I can't run. So minus the MMA exactly what OP posted.

You can make quite a bit of progress with better programing and a bit more intensity. Recently wrestling has been quite the ass whooping in terms of cardio and different muscle development.

Wrestling is HIIT cardio not your typical jogging shit. More akin to ballistics training.

        >Rope skipping for cardio since I can't run

Sup, fren. I avoid running because I hurted my ankle a year ago while skateboarding, and I also skip rope for cardio. I'm here to recommend you to do burpees. I guess you do them for takedown defense, but I'm talking about the navy seals burpees and other variations. Shit is good and useful. I like to comeback from it with a high knee jump sometimes, shit is crazy for cardio.

        i need motivation

These videos inspired me a lot to begin my calisthenics journey. Also, pic.

Thanks, I'm doing lots of wrestling drilling. Burpees and sprawls and a lot of explosive moves. I fricked my knee doing manual labour. It's not terrible and I can still casually jog, but I know it is deteriorated and running will only make it worse.

            i would recommend against burpees
any form of high impact cardio sucks in the long run
running and burpees are up there as the worst ones for your joints, and knees and wrists respectively

Why would you use rings over a pull up bar and dip station? Yeah the rings make you train your stability but what's the fricking point when you are trying to maximize muscle growth and not having to think your arms going to snap city.

      goblet squats, bulgarian split squats

You should do swings to goblet squats and lunge squats for leg pump. If you do it for 2 minutes straight.

      > Swing till one is out of breath.
      > Catch breath.
      > Goblet Squat till you are out of breath.
      > Catch Breath
      > Repeat from 1.

Wood rings are the best, but they're not suitable to be left outside, so make sure to always take them back in after you're done

    Isn't that a speed rope
I thought speed ropes were a very bad choice unless you're a professional, and that it is too much of a bother if you're just a normal guy trying to get some cardio in
Any rope skipping bros to give some insight here

      Anonymous

speed ropes arent good for beginners since it has little to no feedback because it has zero weight making it way harder than it needs to be. a cheap pvc rope will do the trick for most of your cardio needs. when you git gudd the type of rope pretty much comes down to preference
