      Had family like this. One of them said they only ate 1000 calories a day and that doctors never believed them (neither did I) and then they admitted that they'd eat a spoonful of ice cream whenever they passed by the freezer, which they didn't count. I decided to watch everything they did for a day and they weren't counting their cooking oil, their drinks, etc. 1000 calories a day magically turned into 4000 calories a day

      This is what I’m doing. I just eat 1 meal a day. It got to the point where I stopped eating bags of chips, ice cream and pizza yet I still weighed the same even though I ate zero junk food. shit is so annoying frick dieting imma just starve myself I don’t give a frick

    You have to do OMAD. Eat those 1000 calories as one meal in the middle of the day. It's likely not your metabolism, it's the fact that every time you eat, your insulin spikes, and when your insulin is spiked, you can't lose weight. Solution: only have one insulin spike a day so it has time to return to baseline. I know because I did the exact same thing and the weight would not budge until I did OMAD.

      The same diet would literally make me gain 90 pounds of pure fat;
      150 days x 2100 kcal(over my 1000) =315000 kcal, one pound of fat is 3500kcal so 315000/3500=90!!

        If you're eating below maintenance its literally impossible to not lose fat/muscle mass
        Track your calories better fatty, you don't eat as little as you think you do, either that or you sleepwalk to your fridge at night and stuff your face while sleeping

    dude you are eating way too little and your body is in starvation mode. Make sure you're only eating at a few hundred calories deficit or you will see zero results. You also are not supposed to eat at a caloric deficit 100% of the time or you will deplete your leptin levels and cease losing weight--- the typically trick is to do 1 "refeeding" day per week where you take in a moderate surplus of calories in the form of carbs, which helps reset your leptin levels and kickstart weight loss by taking your body out of a kind of starvation response that it gets from dieting.

      If you eat a defecit every day then you will lose weight 100%, your body cannot just keep on truckin without burning fat or muscle.

    I'm 25 6'1 130lbs ~6% body fat and I burn an estimated 1350 calories sitting still. I use weed just to get myself past 2kcal a day, I feel sick if I get near 3kcal and I know with the gym I need to be at 4k if not more for the gains I want (I'm currently a string bean). We are on opposite ends of the spectrum but the solution is the same, we must work harder.
