>do 300 pushups
>visible gains in the next 2 days
You're just not going hard enough
>do 300 pushups
Enjoy your shoulder pain
It's mostly my chest hurting
For me it was a fricked up tricep
>shoulder pain
You're doing it wrong.
It doesn't matter what kind of exercise you're doing, you do not get visible gains in 2 days
It's real in my mind
Lift harder and only do isolations. No compound loser shit.
Pussy.
>fairly
so 1-2 times a week average?
How many times a week gay?
>bench has only gone up 12.5kg since march
What the literal frick
>What the literal frick
post body
Eat more
same happens to me, I was bulking and all... I just got fat, my arms look the same, I see my back is wide but it might be because of the fat, I'm cutting forever and I'll start rope skipping after the lifting sessions
My everything got bigger but now I have ugly love handles
either you fell for the "i can eat whatever i want im bulking haha" meme or some people are just not meant to make it
I eat whatever I want always and have made it. Chad eats pizza and looks good.
congratules you appetite = u needs
>be skeletor
>lift almost every day for one month
>visible gains all over my body
>gained about 15lbs
>get compliments from friends and family that they really notice it in my forearms and chest
>inb4 oh you just got fat!
no, I can still see my abs and veins
i counted my calories daily
if my maintenance is about 2k, and i consumed about 3k daily (sometimes lower tho, like 2.3k, depending on the day) then AT MOST I would have gained 5lbs of fat, but realistically a good chunk of that was probably muscle. The other 10lbs would be water weight and glycogen I assume?
anyways op are you eating enough? I was 5'9" 125lbs, now I am about 140lbs, count your calories, and weigh yourself.
>then AT MOST I would have gained 5lbs of fat
sounds like a lot of skinnyfat cope.
What were your macros for those 2300-3000 calories?
You're not putting in good effort then.
1. Are you lifting heavy?
2. Are you progressively increasing the weight?
3. Are you getting at least 1 g of protein per LBM?
4. Are you in a caloric surplus?
Fail to do any one of the above and you wont gain muscle.
I always hear advice to
>lift heavy
But then I'm supposed to do
>8-10 reps for 3-4 sets
I just reach muscle failure by set 2 or my form suffers noticably. What do then? Lower weight?
Same here. I'm going to start alternating between 4x4 with a heavy ass weight and 4x8 with a moderate one
Increasing volume and eating more did frick all for me.
I'm starting to think nobody knows anything abouit fitness.
I am 17 years old.
>lift heavy compounds for 2 months
>eat 3,5k calories a day
>gain 4lbs, doesn’t look like a single gram of additional fat
Let me guess, you did some machine shit the coach at your gym gave you
2 years, pathetic lifts barely 1/2/3/4
It's 1g of protein per kg of target bodyweight right? Including rest days?
Took me 9 months to see changes, 15 months for others to make the first comments, 24 months to leave DYEL territory
>do steroids
>no visible gains after 1 cycle
You guys lied to me.
