Literally how the fuck does anyone get motivated to work out.

Literally how the frick does anyone get motivated to work out. I can barely even get motivated to eat breakfast let alone force myself to hit the gym with a bunch of sweaty homoerotic gym rats

Not a real thing. I just do it first thing in the morning because thats what my plan for the day is.
Drink lots of water the night before and more when I wake up. Have to pee so I'll get up. Once I'm up I'll just go about my day as programmed.

Start eating better and start exercising, you will get more vitality and it's pretty much just a snow ball effect. Eventually working out will feel really good and you will have more than enough energy to do it, perhaps even look forward to it daily.
By start exercising I mean bare minimum, if you don't even go for walks, start going for walks and go further and further each time. Eventually join a gym if getting swole is your goal, else just at least get half an hour a day so you don't have a heart attack at 30 lol.

Not OP but I call bullshit. Only reason I stick with it is the place I work has a free employee gym nobody else really uses. 8 months later and I'm still fricking drained of energy

hard exercise giving you energy and purpose is a huge psyop on this board. yes you will feel less bad than if you were spending your time on mountain dew and porn, but thats about it

Because I know that the second I step in the gym I'm going to feel better about doing it. When I touch that first plate I'm fricking hype to push myself that day. Sometimes it's a b***h to get off the couch, but you just have to tell yourself that deep down you know you really want to do it.

Because who wants to live life as a sack of potatoes who looks like shit and offends the eye of those who behold him when he gets naked when you could live life commanding respect merely from the presence of the vein in your bicep

My body image issues are so severe that if I don't work out I feel worse than if I do work out. I know its mentally unhealthy but at least I'm channeling it into something physically healthy.

Most of this board consists of college students that don’t know how good they have it working out at their nice student fitness centers instead of a shitty chain gym at peak hours.

literally sleep 4 hours before work and 4 hours after work, then you can hit the gym at midnight when it's mostly empty

One of my biggest regrets was not making daily use of the college gym.

Paradoxically, you're aren't working out enough.

The more you work out, the more you like it.

So, if you're not motivated, just push through it; and you'll start to enjoy it.
