Roiding when you're a professional athlete is understandable. Roiding, because you're an insecure homosexual is laughable.

Yes, but you're on a bodybuilding forum and should be aware of HGH's power. The 'best' player of his generation being put on HGH by Barcelona doctors since infancy, then playing for their 'most doped of all time' first team is highly suspect and puts a huge asterisk by his name and record.

At a minimum the HGH in childhood would have allowed him to play longer than other kids, allow much quicker recovery between sessions, give him connective tissue way beyond his peers, heighten strength/metabolism/injury prevention. Jokes on Messi though - it hugely increases risk and growth of all cancers.

eh.. i don't think he'd be on crazy supraphysiological doses, more like just enough to be in the normal range. Crazy doses would frick him up as a teen.
Also the guy's just crazy skilled, his athleticism isn't anything special.

            >i don't think he'd be on crazy supraphysiological doses

TRT isn't 'crazy supraphysiological doses', though it generally puts one in the upper range of free test PERMANENTLY while on without the ups and downs of a normal mans. What advance do you think a 50 year old man has over his 'natural' peers when 24/7 he has the test of an 18 year old?

I only say this for the lurkers. You don't know enough to comment.

Ironic. Testosterone and HGH aren’t the same thing. Also test levels are typically normalized for age. If you’re a 20 year old getting TRT the target test the doctors use is whatever is the average for your age. They’re not just throwing people into the 99th percentile of test.

HGH is responsible for vertical growth in childhood and excessive amounts causes gigantism. Obviously Messi wasn’t getting that much HGH considering he’s still a manlet.

There was no testing then. But it is even more unrelatable now because in order to win you have to cheat AND have the resources to pass the "tests".

Unlike Americ**t's Black person-worshipping sports, there's actual skill involved in football. No need to hope on a load of roids as a teenager so that muh NFL scout thinks I'm a good player. No need to be a gigagay powerlifter baboon to stay competetive either. So shut the frick up and stop being a Black person lover.

              Not true.

              1. The associations are MORE corrupt so athletes are tested less, ineffectively, and/or not at all. Some athletes are given free passes (Bolt being a prime example), some do not bust their own players and instead tell their clubs to list them as injured (FA/Prem), some are in league with the establishment to hide the issue (famously the Spanish FA, courts and Barcelona).
              2. The drugs are different and now undetectable. In football HGH (just look at how many players have that typical 'HGH build') and EPO are the drugs of choice. The FAs drug testing in England isn't set up to catch either, nor could it.

'Too big too bust' is the view held by tennis.

PROTIP: Tennis is based in Spain and all footballers go to Spain for injury recovery because Spanish doctors are happy to prescribe anabolics. Nandralone, the drug Pep Guardiola got busted for, is the choice. In football if a docor prescribes it you are free to use it by the FA. The process is called a 'Theraputic Use Exemption'. Heard that 90% of your favourite football team is asthmatic? It's because a doctor has handed out TUE and given the players inhalers as PEDs.

An asterisk... drugs don't make you a good football player. The recovery and stuff you're talking about might help yeah but it's his skills that set him apart. I mean this should go without saying really, most top level athletes are probably on PEDs but that doesn't take them to the level of Messi.

Set aside drugs for a second, puberty by itself is such a massive game-changer for early kids that it wildly skews the distribution of professional athletes based on their birthday. Kids that are almost a full year younger than their peers but play on the same team get left in the dust because for a full year their teammates are way faster, stronger, and bigger than them. Then they have a monumental challenge just to catch up.

Now factor in fricking HGH into the equation. It's wildly unfair.

To be fair the dreg midge on the right lies and sells kids the false dream they can do what he did by buying his products. The dreg midge on the left says nothing about the HGH, him playing for the most doped team of all time in Barcelona mid-00s to 10s, and the TUEs (including probably the undetectable HGH taken illegally) he's still on.
