      I don't get what you think happened. His dad puts testosterone gel on himself bc he doesn't produce his own. Then he hugs his son not knowing that there is still test on his skin and his son absorbs it and starts going through puberty as a toddler. Irrespective of puberty blockers being unhealthy, this is also unhealthy. So his mum takes him to a doctor who realises whats happening and his dad switches to injections. They don't do anything else to the boy because the doctors say his body will catch up and develop normally. The end. His mum wants manufacturers to print a warning so people know not to touch their kids after using the gel, because if they had ignored/not found the issue, it eventually might have been bad for him.

          Bro, there is no right answer and your question has been asked for over a literal decade on this board alone and for multiple decades on the various other forums i've lurked on.
          Puberty and hormones are finicky man, there have been people who have tried every diet and exercise to bullet proof their sons life and it really doesn't mean as much as you think it does.
          Your son doing body weight exercises? 100% a good thing and it has little if nothing to do with his body, it has to do with his mind.
          From the time he is born to about 24ish he is in a stage of neural development called synaptogenesis.
          Every thing you let him experience and everything you reinforce daily will only strengthen his connection to his body and his abilities to use said body.
          Which will help him when and if he decides to use said body in an athletic way later.
          After 24 the ability to develop new synapses slowly declines each year. The more connections he has now the better he will be for it later.
          Bonus points his bone structure and tendons will develop to meet this activity.
          The hormone side of it? forget it, you might create a geek god or a fricking freak.

              24 years old.
              from 0 years old to 24 years old synaptogenesis is at a rate of like 200-500% depending on what year of development.
              From 24-50ish(depending on your lifestyle) it drops to 100% replacement rate. Which is why they say an old dog can't learn new tricks.
              Sometimes that is completely accurate.
              After 50 it slowly declines which is why you start to forget things later in life. You literally are missing the connection you once had.
              As you do things daily you reinforce those connections, other synapses are lost for the thing you do daily.

              Body weight is a-okay, there is nothing wrong with a boy using his body. Pushups, running, pullups, squats, running, swimming, whatever.
              Don't do weights until he is actually a bit older. closer to ten.

          I think it's fine to let a kid mess around with light weights that are appropriate for their age, but making your kid bodybuild or specifically try to put on muscle seems weird. I don't have a source but there was that one kid who was absolutely jacked and lifted weights since he was basically a baby, I feel like I saw an update with him and his muscles were all fricked up from growing so much before puberty but I could be misremembering

      It stunts growth a bit apparently. Not sure how. It seems like T and HGH are normally in a careful balance. I'd recommend if you have kids ensuring they get a balanced diet, lots of cardio (ie; hiking or cycling) and low snacking between meals. Like eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, but don't snack between meals or eat right before bed. Seems to create issues with HGH somehow

    tbh if i had to do it over again I would do 3x10 ppl you don't need SS unless you're really weak or something. PPL will get you strong too, bodybuilding is far superior and I'm lifting for athleticism.. strength is great but way too many injuries and not much hypertrophy to build muscle around tendons etc. Also shit motivation because strength lifting makes you stay a normal size.

    I spent 10 years lifting for strength and stayed weak and injured and couldn't progress.. now I'm bodybuilding despite doing MMA and the ganis are better. In either case just lift.

    I've been doing 2 sets of 5 reps for a couple months now and increased my working weight from ~235 to 275lbs. Bench 1RM has gone up from 275 to 320. I don't usually spend more than an hour in the gym 4-5 days a week. I do a nice warmup of the bar, 95lbs, 135lbs, 185... etc but I don't feel like I ever go above RPE 6 until I get to the sets of 5, which are RPE 9.5 - 10. Doing this with all of my lifts, in the spirit of high intensity training like Mike Mentzer. Still 45lbs off of my max when I was roiding, but I'm the strongest that I've ever been as a natty.
