          Not him but there are several ways to compare nutritionnal values while the comparison by weight is the standard one, a comparison by calorie is better in other ways for example when someone is trying to meet a nutrient quota while still being below a calorie threshold.

            A mix of both should be used for any practical discussion to be had.
            In theory the calorie comparison makes sense, but in reality it's nonsensical to not consider the volume of an alternative food you'd have to eat to get as much protein as meat.
            In what situation would someone need so badly to restrict their calories that they couldn't eat meat while staying under a healthy limit?

    I'd recommend putting them on miso soup if you don't like the bland taste of it.
    and while I do think that tofu is good for your health, I would never take it as a source of protein (I usually don't even count it on my daily macros)

    I'm currently trying to replace at least 50% of the meat i eat with tofu. As I got older I feel bad for furry creatures to suffer, especially in factory farming conditions. Chickens and cows are cute.
