it's not just a feeling
what esoteric knowledge do you possess?
monkeh
how to gain more mobility in your wrists? can only do this by holding the bar with thumbs

thank you
No problem. Happy squatting
is this exercise a meme? i cant understand why i should do this instead of back squats
Hits quads better, forced to have better form
Meant to hit quads more. Honestly i just use the hack squat for quad hypertrophy
safer for the back
Hits quads better, stimulates to a similar level as back squats but with much less weight so its safer
I do both, more focus on core, quads.
I have shit hip mobility, I front squat so I don't have to flex my hips more than 90 degrees since the back remains straight.
He's so cute, i wonder what he's thinking about.
i literally cannot do front squat for more than 1-3 reps with any appreciable amount of weight. 4 or more reps and im on the verge of passing out
thinkin bout gainz
Are front squats an honorary upper back exercise?
Delts as well
>he means abs/core
I do deadlifts already. will front squats cover more muscles than doing back squats?
No, they cover fewer muscles. However they hit quads better and deadlifts already train your posterior chain, so they might be a good fit for you.
Yeah it's great.
how do i get back into that mindset?
used to push myself back at the beginning but now am just going through the motions
>used to push myself back at the beginning but now am just going through the motions
pretend you're a marsoc delta pj seal when you're in the gym, and think "if I don't go hard as frick, I'll die". works for me
I mean, the measure of how squatty an exercise is is how much it makes you feel like you’re dying. By that logic, front squats are the squattiest squats.
at first front squat felt weird and terrible. but had someone look at my form and turns out i was leaning/arching back to keep the bar on. when i adjusted to push my pelvis forward at the top (to avoid arch) and then semi-choke myself with the bar, the lift actually felt awesome; and i have just enough flexibility on shoulder and elbows to hold it properly.
now i really enjoy this one - it helps my posture and def feel on the legs the next day.
