Why? It's low on fiber and high on calories. It's better to eat some onion, tomato or cucumber, isn't it?

It is satiating. Makes you feel more full

Potatoes have the same glycemic index as table sugar

A good salad is much more satiating and low-calorie... you are also ignoring the fact that in order to be palatable, potatoes are gonna have butter and salt added, and it fricking eats up salt like no other food does so you have to add quite a bit

You're very right, don't listen to any "nutrition advice" on this board, it is literally full of people who think eating a Mcdouble is better for you than having a little olive oil, or that we should only eat saturated fats and lots of red meat. I'm convinced this board is full of college/high school age kids who have never had a lipid/liver panel done and have read a single blog post about eating for exercise so they think they know everything. The dunning-kruger is strong with this place

Potatoes are garbage for satiation lmao wtf happened to this place. Potatoes get digested down to sugar very quickly. And there's little nutrition in them (hunger can also be expressed as cravings for deficiencies.)

I'll be genuinely satiated for almost 24 hours after eating a couple pounds of meat, that's satiation.

Please redpill me on potassium in a fitness lifestyle

        >70kcal for 100g
        >high calories
Are you american by any chance?

I am from Andalusia, but still: potatoes are on the higher end of caloric vegetables. Most of them are sub-50 kcal per 100g, and half of those are less than 25 kcal.

1 large potato is like 200-300 calories tops. Youve never tracked your food before b***h

300 kcal are like 15 large tomatoes (around 3.6 lb). I am cutting hard measuring stuff and logging my meals (thanks frens for the motivation)

Potassium is basically the factor in preventing heart disease but you basically need a frickload of:

          >Potatoes
          >Chicken
          >Salmon
          >Broccoli

To get anywhere near the recommended levels. But everyone doesn't and then they die.

How...? Whenever I eat an apple, I'm starving 30 minutes later. Eggs (and most animal protein/fat sources) on the other hand keep me full for much longer.

Don't have any at the stores. I just want to know what I can pair with normal sweet potatoes to counter sweetness. Should I just heavily salt them? I don't care about living forever btw.

what a sad looking meal. Jesus christ. Only thing that looks edible are the potatoes

The chicken needs salt, pepper, a dash of ground cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. I would say maybe onion powder and garlic powder, but I can't tell if you would have already applied that, given the color.
That is a chicken breast, right? I thought it was a bread roll at first.

Not bad (?). But needs more color from veggies. And for the love of god COOK your chicken!

Chicken is airfried and has a layer of homemade honey mustard. Literally delicious and healthy.
