Just go inside a good MMA gym that propose learning courses for the differents sports if the goal is MMA competition.
Focus on boxing and wrestling first, then to thai and JJB.
Judo won't be that useful because you don't wear gis in MMA.
My intention was for having the basis of combat not mma competion, and i know some old dude that practices the no gi stuff plus the old techniques befoer they putted some dumb rules.

Boxing and wrestling. Judo is also actually very underrated and one if not THE sport that is 10x more efficient in the street compared to tatami, especially if you have passable chin but still get the basis of wrestling first. And you will test your chin during boxing hard sparring. Don't be a moron tho and remember that regarding CTE, damage is cumulative exponential. Getting wobbled by heavyweights is fine for a moment in regard to longevity but don't take hard shots 5 years from now.
I’m thinking about learning kendo because larping as a samurai and hitting people with a stick sounds cool and swordfighting is a useless but neat skill.

Will keep lifting I guess. I mostly use a routine my old boxing coach gave me with some added isolation exercises for calves, abbs, forearms and chest. Since the whole thing is already focused on straightening my arms, back, shoulders and legs I figure it’ll be enough for kendo.
For cardio I will start rooning with a friend of mine and maybe take up swimming next year.
Tbh I would like to learn how to use a meteor hammer or a kusarigama, but it’s not like I can find a teacher right around the corner and I have serious doubts whether such impractical weapons were even actually used in real combat at some point.
I'm not against martial arts, but in all said and done knowing how to use a gun is most effective (regardless of where in the world you live). I'd do martial arts 2-3 times a week and go to the gun rage 2x a month if i were in your shoes

i've seen judo being used on the street quite a lot were i live but i dont know about wrestling
Why boxing before Thai?

There are lots of no-gi Judo techniques that work in any situation. They're comparatively easy to learn and you can master them in a few months

What were you gonna do for exercise?
i was thinking about mostly uppper body plus wrist am cardio and somenthing for the leg

not everyone can use a gun or a knife in self defense

Is 2 days for judo and 2 days for Muay thai enough to learn at a decent pace for each? 1 and a half-2 hours per class
