        Fast food isn't fattening because of a single burger. It's fattening because its high calorie AND it's not filling with zero fiber and has a shit ton of MSG making it delicious and irresistible to your brain. So inevitably you aren't just eating one meal in a day. You eat fast food multiple times a day and a whole large big mac meal at mcdonalds is 1330 calories. Even eat that just twice a day and you're already at 2660, 500 calories over.

        If you just eat this way for a couple months you'll gain 25lbs, do it for a whole year and you'll be 50lbs heavier. It's not surprising why people in america stack on the pounds. Even a 250cal surplus on everyday over a year is 25lbs of fat. Over 5 years someone can easily
        500cal surplus*365=182500/3500=52lbs

        This makes no sense and is just cope, It's all calories. You can say one thing about its health properties on your arteries and plaque building, but this is fat loss we are talking about, not the health effects of eating burgers. Two completely different things.

        Fat loss is an equation and simple physics irrelevant and outside nutritional health on what's good for your organs.

    Eating fast food is fine if you are actually healthy. Since you dont eat fast food often, it really isn't going to do anything.

      I’ve heard this is equally hard to do in the kitchen though. Your body will make you hungrier in response to exercise so you’ll still need to restrict your calories to your old amount, so you’re exercising extra(good) but still having to restrict calories(bad).

    This always confused me. How the fuck does anyone get fat on McDonald's? Even getting two triple cheeseburgers, large fries, and a large drink that's barely 2,000 calories. And it's extremely filling.
    It's easily the best tasting out of all the fast food chains but you have to be careful eating there or you could miss your calorie target for the day.

        If you're tall and engage in light activity then daily maintenance is 3,000 calories. 2,000 is only 66% of 3,000. If you do cardio add at least 500 to that.
