I'm on mobile, but from listening to the Nutrition guys arguing on Rogan (open debate between omnivore and vegan btw), they both seem to agree that there'a a process where meat rots in your intestine if there isn't enough fiber on your diet to flush it out.

you're a fricking moron who knows nothing about digestion clearly since you brainlessly parrot a total myth. if you've ever seen an actual experiment with acid you would know that plants dont get digested for the most part by the stomach while meat begins to dissolve in mere minutes and that is without taking into account digestive enzymes, body heat, bacteria, etc. the experiment was also done on raw and cooked meat and of course the raw meat digested the fastest and the most completely (bone and all) due to the enzymes present in the food itself accelerating the process

Cows are really stupid BTW. They have absolutely no awareness. It's why they make excellent livestock. It's why the average well trained quarterhorse can herd them easily with little to no effort wherever they want them to go. If you put a trained horse in a field alone with a cow, it will then herd the cow around for fun. The cow won't notice it was ever herded around in the first place when the horse is bored and goes to take a nap or eat some grass. The cow then goes on to eat grass as if nothing was happening. They are so stupid that they don't even understand what's going on in the slaughterhouse until the moment the bolt is in their brain. Then they're already dead. Cows literally exist for the purpose of being eaten by one of the plethora of a smarter animals, including humans.

        >pointless breeding, raping
In the case of bovines, breeding is done by bulls who are in a pack with cows while they're in a pasture. The animals in charge of the breeding and raping are bulls.
        >torture of harmless animals
The "evidence" of this torturing is staged by vegans when they're making one of their "documentaries" or is in China.

To be fair, this chick has some weird genetic sickness where she can only eatspecific vegan diet. She actually looked worse when she wasnt vegan, believe it or not.
Its the same with Peterson, he has this weird genetic thing where he can basically only properly digest meat. Anything else and he might as well be eating cardboard.
Does it mean vegan/carnivore diet is good? Not for the average person, but these two examples arent average.

Possibly, along with the rest of the keto shills (yes le carnivore diet is just yeat another rebrand of the same ol' thing). They do put small print disclaimers in their publications that they are not real practicing doctors, it's not real medical advice, believe on your own discretion, please seek real doctor if you get sick etc for legal shielding but I don't think it will hold once the awareness grows big enough that their scam is hurting people. And if the legal system doesn't work, I hope Americans have enough of the frontier cowboy spirit left in them to do the necessary with ropes and trees.

I'll be fricking honest, I stopped eating meat entirely, or at the very least have reduced meat consumption to an extremely small degree (we're talking 1 meat meal a month in quantity if that), and I limited this meat to mostly organ, fish and some select red meat.
My main diet is fruits and starchy tubers/root vegetables, coconut and walnut, and of course eggs and milk/dairy. Add some cacao, add some coffee, add some honey, add some speck once in a blue moon. My health has never been better and for once I'm eating EXACTLY what I've always intuitively known I should eat. Meat for me was never intuitive, shit like bacon and sausages and shit yeah are tasty, but I can't justify eating that. It's tasty in a vile sort of way, like dirty degenerate sex.
I distinctly remember as a kid I asked when my grandpa is gonna cut the cattle for meat, and I was enlightened learning that they don't keep cattle for meat, they keep it for the milk. It made SO much sense to me as a kid back then.

basically autocannibalism. its the only reason veganism can stand since at first you feel good from removing all the chemical slop but with time of course they always wither and rot away their fat stores and muscle tissue. but ill give the guy credit for eating eggs and milk and coconut at the very least

Carbs are essencial for energy and pumping, not to speak about the benefits from fiber and all the indirect water and vitamins that go through your organs. There's literally nothing positive about a shit carnivore diet.

Beans taste bad, have a poor texture, and are not satisfying in any way. You have to douse them in curried coconut milk (saturated fat) or bbq sauce (sugar) or refry them in lard like mexicans do or add guacamole and actual meat to make them remotely edible.

Lentil soup is delicious with just some salt.
                My favourite recipe
                200g of red lentils
                2 large sweet potatoes
                4 large carrots
                4 large celery sticks
                1 large whole leek
                4 cloves garlic
                3tbsp 50/50 potassium/sodium salt

Boil for 10 minutes, simmer for 50 minutes, then purée.
If you really want to make it next level though, leave out the sweet potato, buy some lamb ribs, strip off the meat, boil the bones in the soup for 30 minutes, dice the rib meat into little cubes and throw into the soup and simmer for another 20 minutes.

                or something like this

Now ask it what the french paradox is

            Anonymous

            sure:
            >The "French Paradox" is a term used to describe the seemingly paradoxical observation that the French have a relatively low incidence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) despite their consumption of a diet that is high in saturated fat, which is traditionally thought to be a risk factor for CVD. The explanation for the French Paradox is still a matter of debate among scientists, but some of the proposed theories include:
            >Red wine consumption: Some researchers have suggested that the high consumption of red wine in France may be responsible for the lower incidence of CVD. Red wine contains a group of antioxidants called polyphenols, which have been shown to have cardioprotective effects.
            >Mediterranean-style diet: The French diet is often described as being similar to the Mediterranean-style diet, which is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats from sources such as olive oil and fish. This type of diet has been linked to a lower risk of CVD.
            >Lifestyle factors: The French lifestyle includes regular physical activity, stress reduction through socializing, and a generally relaxed attitude towards life, which may contribute to better heart health.
            >Under-diagnosis: It is also possible that the low incidence of CVD in France is due to under-diagnosis, as the country has a relatively low rate of autopsies, which are often used to confirm the cause of death in cases of sudden cardiac death.

It's likely the combination of multiple factors, just like heart disease.

Sure beats google. Here's a counter-example of Latvia btw regarding that saturated fat consumption:

            >According to the latest data available from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the average person in Latvia consumed approximately 28 grams of saturated fat per day in 2020. This is higher than the global average of 17 grams of saturated fat per day.
            >Regarding heart disease rates, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the age-standardized death rate from cardiovascular disease in Latvia in 2016 was 599 per 100,000 population. This is higher than the global average age-standardized death rate for cardiovascular disease in the same year, which was 254 per 100,000 population.

See how nicely it goes. As the saturated fat consumption doubles, so does the heart disease deaths. Now is the time when you start screeching that other factors play a role which nobody is denying. Just pointing out French-levels of saturated fat consumption do not guarantee French-levels of heart disease.

                >Now is the time when you start screeching that other factors play a role which nobody is denying.
You're literally denying that other factors matter by claiming that saturated fat consumption is driving heart disease in Latvia and not the fact that they are one of the heaviest-drinking and smoking countries in the world
                >Smoking is particularly common among adult men; more than half smoke regularly, one of the highest rates in the OECD. The rate tracks the OECD average at about one in five.
                >Latvia has a higher prevalence of smoking tobacco in children than many other European countries.[5] The Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) in 2011 found that 40.5% of children in grades 7 through 9 reported current tobacco use, while 31.5% were smoking cigarettes.[6]

                >ITS NOT THE FACT THAT THEY SMOKE LIKE CHIMNEYS AND DRINK LIKE FISH, IT'S DEFINITELY THE SATURATED FAT

I wasn't denying it, but Latvia is in line with the other countries (saturated fat consumption goes up, so does heart disease), hence why French are such an sole exception to the rule it's called a paradox. Now you're again trying to shift the blame from saturated fat to anything else despite it's proven to cause it. Why are you doing that?

                Anonymous

I have plenty of sources. The core issue with keto shills really is how they try to obfuscate from the fact. Two of the most damning things they avoid discussing at all cost are the following:

                1. No study exists demonstrating reversal of heart disease by increasing saturated fat consumption (the opposite is true)
                2. No study exists demonstrating improved health outcomes with increased meat consumption (the opposite is true)

It's exactly that reason why they first pretend that science is on their side, then when pressed switch to saying all science bad, and as a final step go full conspiratorial.

                Nope.

Simply not true. None of the things you're claiming have been tested in controlled studies. epidemiological studies mean jackshit.

And here comes the full science denialism again. Just FYI the Ornish study on reversing heart disease was controlled and has been replicated later by Esselstyn among others. Next you will start crying about how change in diet was not the only thing they did, to which I reply cry all you want, the point still stands, no such study exists where increasing saturated fat consumption reverses heart disease. Additionally because you are scientifically illiterate imbecile, those tests also did test for what happens with incrased saturated fat consumption, it's called control group. It didn't reverse, it progressed.

                >None of the things you're claiming have been tested in controlled studies. epidemiological studies mean jackshit.
NTA and epidemiological studies are certainly the weakest form of scientific evidence, but they can still demonstrate strong associations that bely an underlying causative relationship.
Epidemiological studies showed an irrefutable relationship beteen smoking and various chronic diseases, and the typical hazard ratio, or risk increase, for lung cancer was 8-14 for smokers, ie an 8-14x increase in the chance of developing lung cancer.
Epidemiological studies on nutrition typically have HRs of 0.2-1.1 - almost statistical noise, and almost impossible to isolate from confounding factors like comorbidities, sedentary lifestyle, genetic risks, etc.

Fricking WRONG!!! People who are vegan tend to lead healthier lifestiyes and do not smoke.
This is what we're dealing with. Also, there's no fricking controlled study were the participants are only consuming non processed metas, hence why epidemiological studies don't mean jack shit in this context.

Yet, with smoking there are controlled studies, known mechanisms and epidemiological evidence. All pointing into the same conclusion.

Not the same with nutrition in this particular case.

However, plenty of studies have reduced saturated fat consumption and shown no reduction in heart disease mortality.

When the evidence is this mixed, it's likely that you haven't identified the essential cause, the primary driver, the main reason why people develop and die from heart disease.
Pic related has a much more compelling theory for the causes of heart disease - dysfunction in the thrombolytic process. We constantly develop blood clots within our vasculature to plug leaks, fix damage caused by shear forces, etc. Dietary factors, metabolic disease, exogenous chemicals such as those from smoking cigarettes etc, can disrupt the processes that break these clots apart, causing them to grow over time.

                >For every study that appears to show a positive correlation, another shows a negative correlation.
This is a blatant lie. No study exists showing negative correlation for increased saturated fat consumption and less heart disease.

Rest of your post is just the usual science denialism when facts don't support your lies.

                >No study exists showing negative correlation for increased saturated fat consumption and less heart disease.
Not when you aggregate all saturated fat together, as if it is one kind of food, but when you split it into different food types, different story.
                https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34796724/
                >Dietary Fatty Acids, Macronutrient Substitutions, Food Sources and Incidence of Coronary Heart Disease: Findings From the EPIC-CVD Case-Cohort Study Across Nine European Countries
                >For example, each 1% increase in total energy intake from yogurt or cheese was linked to a 7% and 2% lower risk of heart disease, respectively.

                >Conversely, increased intake of red meat and butter were associated with a 7% and 2% higher risk of heart disease, respectively.

                >7% and 2%
Completely insignificant in light of all the innumerable confounding variables affecting the data.

That is capped at 5%. So disingenuous. So the max is a 35% relative difference in incidence. Nothing about the absolute risk difference across 100 person-years of intervention. Questionnaire study. Statistical 'adjustments' everywhere. No analysis of possible mechanisms either.

So exactly the same as every study that you might post to "prove" that saturated fat "causes" heart disease, got it!

Yes, no scientific claims can be made from any of these studies. Study back and fourth game is pseudo-intellectual fart sniffing. A complete waste of time.

The science doesn't exist. Deal with it instead of holding onto your epidemiology because it makes you feel smarter. The same kind of 'science' told us it was beneficial to get the vax, so I am assuming you are at least triple boosted.

Pretty much spot on the drinking in europe is kinda crazy, the more north you go.
Once visited some friends in southern europe for 3 weeks and was kinda confused when nobody did drink anything when going out and just had a good time sober.
Was really nice but almost not possible where I am from, It is almost mandetory you drink something when going out.

I don't understand Americans, no offense.

We have Alcohol in Europe ingrained into our culture and have an overall healthy relationship with it. We're functional after all.

But for some reason, burgers can't manage it in a healthy way, hence why you have(and had) so many laws restricting its usage.

As a vegan, the caloric intake you need to go through to get your daily recommended dose of protein is ludicrous.

So far this is the only accurate comment re: vegetarian/vegan diets, but only if you believe you need 1g protein per lb of bodyweight.
It's quite straightforward to get 100+g eating 2000cal/day.
