this is literally my family, i try to explain to these morons that all u have to do is eat less calories but they keep falling for meme diets

they are generally right about the last one though

    >cut out all grains and rice from my diet
    >most of my carbs now come from dairy and fruit
    >eat more red meat and butter as well
    >skin clears up, feel more energetic throughout the day, need less sleep to feel rested, get better pumps

Then eat less, moron. At some level CICO works for everyone. Sometimes your CO are a lot lower than you realize and you only need 1300-1800 CI.

I'm in shape but I'm clinically obese 🙂
    Still tryna lose weight tho
(This is not larp, I can do 180 minutes of steady state cardio at 15-20cals pm, and I lift 3-4 times a week, I do not need legs 2 so I usually skip it.)
    5'8 235lbs, down from 450 though lmao.

Fatties are right about bmi though, my bmi is 26 and I have visible abs. My gym bro is overweight according to bmi too and hes shredded af at 6'1 90kg

BMI is only accurate when applied to people who live sedentary lifestyles, its garbage when applied to fit people.

But yeah the other points are moronic, it always kills me when the fatsos at work who I mog to oblivion give me shit for eating carbs on lunch break, because clearly they know better than me lol

      >its garbage when applied to fit people
And this makes sense. Someone who's been lifting for a few years can be sub 15% bf while being classed as overweight by bmi, which is moronic. But anyone with a bmi over 25 who doesnt lift is 100% a fatass

      Anonymous

BMI misses atleast 20% overfatfricks in the normal category so it's garbage for the sedentary too

      Anonymous

It's meant to measure things on a population level. Probably not even 1% of people are shredded enough to frick up the measurement, at which point it doesn't matter. If you went for a checkup the doctor would take one look and note you aren't overweight.

You are the definition of a meat head. The OP clearly stated that he was referring to the proposterous cope of fatties dismissing their own BMI measurement because the BMI as a tool is not accurate when measuring those carrying very large amounts of lean muscle (which they most certainly are not)

The fun part is that your heart, kidneys, liver, feet, and knees can't tell the difference between those two bodies, because they are both 220 pounds which puts extra strain on everything. You might as well be the guy on the right, you will have the same health risks.

This is the most moronic take on the planet that it shouldn't even deserve a response. have a nice day homosexual and prequels were shitty.

          >puts extra strain on everything
the strain doesn't come from the weight dumbass

          Anonymous

No that's not quite right. Being that weight would put strain on your joints but not on your organs. Visceral fat in your abdomen causes organ damage, not just the weight. Fat storage in the liver due to high body fat and poor diet causes nafld, not just your scale weight. Bad lipid levels and hypertension increase the risk of heart disease (and kidney disease), which come from poor diet and high body fat, not scale weight.

If you are either a 200 pound fatty or a 200 pound powershitter:
            >your heart has to pump enough blood to supply oxygen to all 200 pounds
            >your legs, joints, and ligaments still have to support 200 ounds
            >your kidneys have to process an ungodly amount of food waste
            >your liver will have to produce more hormones
            >your bones will have to support more weight
            >your cholesterol will still be high
Most roiders and swoldiers will die early. Even if you were simply taller at the same BMI, you would die sooner because of additional heart strain.

Because muscle has the same function as fat in the body right? Not like muscle is actually what moves you around or shit. As if the more muscle you have the easier it is to so shit and makes it less stressful on your other organs like your heart unless you’re a round freak because it takes less effort to do shit like going up stairs. Oh also, if you fit it likely means you also have some cardio health to go with it. While not a requirement, it goes hand in hand that if you are fit you do fit shit like biking/swimming/running/hiking or some kind of physical activity. While if you’re a 220 lb fat ass you likely got there because of a sedentary lifestyle.
