Was this man on PEDs, or genetically gifted? Can this be achieved natty? He apparently didn't lift that much at all, what the hell?

he was both gifted in various ways, and probably also on PED's. if he didn't box and did bodybuilding he'd probably make a great bodybuilder, goes for most athletes who have some natural talent.

He has a thick frame and low myostatin, so yes. He was genetically gifted

He “didn’t lift much” sure but he did like 1000 pushups dips and sit-ups + running and cycling for hours every day. Autistic savant tier hard work is what made him such a demon. People always talk about muh genetics but his genetics would’ve meant nothing without the work ethic.

Why do mutts overrate mediocrities like Ali and Tyson? There are like 20 modern heavyweights who would murder them both

Any GOAT argument you have to assume they would theoretically get modern coaching and medicine/nutrition. Given how long Ali reigned (and regained his belt, plus the Vietnam break) he'd probably do well in any era. Tyson is just beloved because the way he boxed was very aesthetic. Especially compared to the modern 6ft4+ fat out of shape lanky heavy weight champ.

        He also ate an ear
        Fricking caveman mentality
I bet Tyson will be remembered longer than Ali for that reason

How exactly does someone overrate a person that was the top of their field?

        The field being showmanship?

I mean people overrate Messi all the time so it's simple: don't actually watch any of the matches and just parrot the opinion of every other cultist who didn't watch the match

Because the competition at the time wasn't of a particularly high standard compared with other eras

You’re full of shit. Ali would school just about anyone and Big George Foreman would knock their brains loose.

Ali and Tyson are/were black and there is nothing that gets an amerimutt more erect than a black guy on roids. Nothing. You underestimate how much blacks are worshiped in the US.

I don't know if he did PEDs, I think by now he would've admitted it. What he did admit to was getting high before a fight and hired a whizzer to pass a pee test, when Mike admitted that a promoter of a guy he beat absolutely raged out.
