Minoxidil lasts 5 years. If I am not balding yet, could I use this to get through my college years without having to worry about hair? Then I can start finasteride when I notice hair loss?

You got it the other way around. Fin is best as preventative measure or to hold ground, while minox regrows (mainly crown and scalp)
Minox also makes you lose hair so it can regrow new healthier hair so you're gonna be bald for a few months
Fin gave me fatigue. No other sides besides that so I am willing to try it again another time. Is min really not adequate if I have basically no hair loss yet?
Also I worry only because my dad is bald.
Eh, my dad has a rug like Kenny Powers all his life and I starting balding at 19. I wouldn't rely on family members' hairlines to plan things out.
If you've no loss yet don't do anything. When (if) you start to notice some temple recession I'd get on fin. Min is to grow; it's pointless if you haven't lost anything
Retard. You’re supposed to use min when your hair is STARTING to die.
Once your hairs have already died and your hairline has receded it’s almost impossible to grow it back
Nope, you've still got it wrong yourself. Fin regrows hair, while Minox just delays the inevitable.
I've had regrowth on just Fin but it's just anecdotal.
get on fin + min when you start balding, simple as.
Its also a self fulfilling prophecy so if you dont stop fixating and worrying about it the norwood reaper is more likely to pay a visit sooner rather than later.
The only use case for min outside of reversing balding is to help grow a fuller beard if you have shit beard genetics, but its not guaranteed at all.
Have used minox on my temples and have gotten some hair back.
Recently started to use this on top of my head and oh boy how much I fucking shed.
Just wrote a dermatologist, so maybe if I'm lucky I can get a prescription for Finasteride.
23 now, my mother-side grandfather went bald around 30 and my uncle around 25.
I’m only on min rn (3 weeks in) and I think my hair is getting even thinner. Is this a good thing lol? But I’m not shedding I think, not sure cause I have short hair rn
It’s normal, just stick with it. You’re likely not going to see results for a few months. Most people talk shit about min because they quit too early
Thanks, I will.
Lol, minox cant give ED let alone gyno
No no no stop stop stop. Every single man should take Finasteride or Dutasteride and I mean it. Higher Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels cause increased scarring when you have a heart attack. Since men have more testosterone than women, they have higher DHT levels than women. The DHT levels are high enough in men that when a man has a heart attack it is often times GGWP. Also thanks to high DHT, men are more likely to lose hair on their head because the hair follicles miniaturize over time into the void. Women do in fact also get androgenic alopecia, it is in the name, "androgenic" which is another form of androgyny. When you take Finasteride or Dutasteride, your DHT levels PLUMMET. This means when you get a heart attack, you get minimal scarring and you keep your hair. Minoxidil only boosts hair growth, but the underlying cause of the hair loss is not fixed.

Dear Lord in Heaven please tell me you’re not this stupid…
Finchud shills detected
Im on min 5% and now i cant get erections and gyno is starting to form
Fuck this shit
just got a new recipe for finasteride bros, 5mg, i'll quarter them and take them eod.
i also microneedle twice a month and use minoxidil.
that's a supposed side effect of finasteride, not minoxidil, you're suffering from nocebo like a lot of other dudes, and maybe you're getting fat.
gyno is actual breast tissue, not just moobs like every fat guy has.
Same, my balls fell off on min
>I'm not balding
>What slop that might have other effects can I use just in case
>Minoxidil lasts 5 years
what?
