modern medicine almost killed my brother

my younger and only brother had surgery for his right broken shoulder and doctor prescribed him tramadol, a very strong opioid. the doctor didnt tell him about the risks of long term use and he ended up having cluster of seizures. luckily he was with a friend, so paramedics were called immediately. fuck doctors

Do people really jump onto opioids without understanding that it's highly addictive and that the withdrawal symptoms can be nasty? The only excuse would be if your brother is underage

    >tramadol
    >very strong opioid
The reason they prescribe that is how weak it is in comparison to the other pharmaceuticals available after surgery.

lmao have a nice day you fucking retard no wonder you lost the Falkland Islands.

Imagine being so retarded that you don't do a basic google search on the medication you're taking multiple times per day for weeks or months when literally all information on drugs including drug trials is publicly available and available on request.

      This.

Bitch gay ODs on the paracetamol of opioids.

Yeah, they should never have done surgery on him and just left his shoulder broken. Fuck doctors.

You're only supposed to take them when you feel pain. Tell your junkie brother to stop popping them like skittles and maybe he wouldn't have OD

Lol, over here vets sell tramadol off the shelf to anyone who asks, as much as they want too
There some retard that buys several packs at once. I don't know if he is a foreigner or is super fuck up on them, he speaks like he has just awoken all the time

You and your brother have Internet access. You have infinite access to information and education. Try practicing some self responsibility. You could have looked this up. You don't take medicine without understanding what it is.

    lul

and seizures are possible with tramadol but EXTREMELY unlikely unless you are taking 300+mg or mixing it with antidepressants or serotenergic compounds

Sue for malpractice, seriously. Contact a law firm that does free consults and takes a % of winnings and you have 0 risk.

Gather all material facts and reports etc before the consult so they can tell you if you have a strong enough case to proceed.

The overprescribing of opioids is fucking insane. I’ve refused them for less efficacious ones so I don’t become addicted.

I would like to disagree with this as somebody for works in medicine but yes American hospitals are very notorious for prescribing opioids to people who might not entirely need them
This is what caused the fentanyl epidemic
However your brother might have been retarded and took to much either intentionally or non intentionally because seizures are one of the outlier symptoms

No es culpa del médico si el pelotudo de tu hermano no lee el prospecto del medicamento.
