Morning Routine Thread

Post your AM fitness routines for general health, wellbeing and goal achievement, IST.

>Wake up with the sunrise (important, IMO. Circadian rhythm maxing has been very good for my sleep and mental clarity)
>Denounce the talmud
>Coffee on, wash face with water, then toner and moisturizer with SPF
>Go for a walk, at least up to the park. Distance isn't important for this first walk of the day, it's to get fresh air, sun on my face, and signal to my body that I'm awake
>Mediate in a sunny spot, I use the Headspace app
>Get home, stretching routine
>Open my computer to start work

        This is good but why so early? Are you on a bulk, that's a lot of white rice.

          I work a 9-5. I find getting up at 5am allows me a nice 1.5hour - 2hour workout without feeling rushed. I prefer working out in the mornings.

          I'm cutting. That's about 125g of carbs/500cal. My macro goal is 125g protein, 200g carb, 50g fat which is 1700cal total for the day. Sometimes I feel like it's not enough carbs. My workouts usually burn 500cal+ with intense compounds and lots of isolation drop sets.

    nice routine
    i like that you take your time to meditate
    did this during university too, now I only find time in the afternoon

    >wake up with Sun (except Dec, Jan)
    >make cappuccino on pic rel, it's like a 5min ritual i enjoy
    >read newspaper with coffee for a few minutes
    >grab something from my fruit bowl and bike to local swimming pool
    >eat fruit on my way
    >stretch and swim for like 20-30min (sometimes if the weather is nice I go for a jog instead)
    >back home, overnight oats with lots of fruit, nuts and seed
    >dress and walk to work
    though this only works because I have a really chill job, 35h/week and I can start at 10am

        how much would a machine like that be? I'm not a barista but a job of mine has one, and while I wouldn't consider my coffees great I do enjoy the process and think it'd be therapeutic to have at home.

          This one specifically about 2100€ plus 750€ for a coffee grinder
          but this is highest tier stuff, you won't need this
          and I'm not even sure I'd taste the difference to a way cheaper machine

          you can get really cheap ones for 200-300€ (e.g. De'Longhis)
          you can also experiment with hand grinding (takes about 60s) if you like the process
          otherwise most accessories have high end and Amazon variants, the latter ones won't probably last your whole life but are significant cheaper and usually do 95% of the job

    weekend/days off are pretty similar, replace work with reading until noon.

    >do 4x 50 minute pomodoros with 10 minute breaks inbetween where I clean my apartment / pet my cats etc
    >head to work at 8:30AM
    >work till 17:00
    >go to the gym, work out and be home by 18:30
    >chill till 20:00 when I hit the hay

    It may sound horrible, but honestly I've NEVER felt better. The feeling of being on the right track and not feeling bad about anything you do during the day is really liberating

    10/10 would recommend
