Mushrooms are ultra based.

Tastes great, filling, very low calorie, high protein, good micros. Fellow shrigma males report in, non-believers take the fungus pill.

500g of mushrooms is 110kcal and has 15g of protein, whey is 115kcal for 1 scoop and 22g of protein.

let me just eat 8kg of mushrooms to meet my daily protein needs

you are comparing 500g of mushrooms to 30g of whey and even then the whey has 50% more protein

retards can't into protein per calorie

Everyone should strive to incorporate half a kilo of mushroom into their daily diet.

its a completely retarded metric unless you are a 4'5 woman on a suicide diet
if you have problems hitting your protein target on a tdee over 2k you must have brain damage

I'm trying to go for 1.8k calories a day because I'm massively fat and trying to lose weight, so hitting my protein goal of 120g is a bit difficult and I get tired of eating nothing but whey and chicken breast so mushrooms are a big help.

Yeah but I don't mean make mushroom your main source of protein, I mean if you include mushrooms in your diet you can eat less chicken/whey and get something tasty in there. Plus the weight doesn't matter, only calories do.

To be fair whey is dehydrated powder while mushrooms are unprocessed so they contain a lot of water

I also eat whey and chicken breast and peas along with mushrooms. Diversify your protein sources my bro.

Bears eat everything they can get their hands on, berries, mushrooms, fish and deer. They are big and hairy like I am, so I should follow their example.

I love the taste but they're kind of pointless nutrition wise, you're lying about the nutrients. It's a fiber bomb with a little bit of minerals from soil pretty much. Can't justify buying them, I should cultivate them or bamboo shoots.

B-Vitamins, copper, zinc, potassium, selenium, iron and phosphorous are nothing I guess. Also the more fibre you eat the better.

Sorry, but I inherently don't trust anyone who shills anything closely linked to causing changes in people's brains. Anyone who shills mushrooms is simply infected with mushroom spores and is trying to trick humanity into thinking mushrooms are great. Nice try, mushroom, man, but you can't trick me. It's the same with people who like cats. You're all just filthy toxaplasmoids in disguise, and I yearn for the eradication of you're entire parasitical species.
