I did it a few years back. The people who had done it for 5+ years looked like fucking shit. All of them easily looked 10+ years older than they actually were. Some 28 year old guy had almost fully gray hair
I’m pretty sure when he said this he was saying you can’t recover it over the weekend or a short amount of time. It takes 1.5-3 weeks to truly recover from lack of sleep, and that can be as long as 6 hours a night consistently that gets you lacking too.
Basically this. You don't just skip two hours and get to sleep two hours later to offset it, your brain is also potentially 'permanently' affected, but if you get enough sleep over a period of time you will end up basically in the same place you would have been, minus a few memories/movement patterns/grams of muscle/etc

Literally billions of people are capable of good sleep. You just don't hear about them because it's not exciting to talk about.
I enjoyed Onassisposting, but his advice is shit. From all you read, humans require 6-9h of sleep, period. That may vary on person to person though. It can actually be split into blocks, and naps help too, but just sleeping 5h total every day is not good for anyone. Also, it's equally important to go to sleep and wake up at the same time. Just sleeping till 7AM Mon-Fri and then sleeping till 1PM on weekends doesn't work too well.
You can recover as long as you pay debnts
t. guy who works a rotating shift
How long have you worked rotating shifts?

Blonde combover, sun beaten skin, neanderthal face. He's a brit tho, so nearly the same.
His book was okay for the factual information but boy oh boy is he a good goy.
>good goy.
can you elaborate? i dont know much about him, does he shill for a bunch of shit?
Not really that I know of, but his writing style and some criticisms of his book make me think he's very reddit like.
On the other hand, he is a professor at Berkley, so he can't be a full on NPC.

Did all of the Aristotle Onassis quote posters die from insomnia grindset?
